We had dinner for my father in laws 80th birthday last Saturday. Nothing was too much trouble from booking via email and the staff on site. . Food was amazing, and all came out together, no mean feat, considering there was 14 of us.
Highly recommended.

Three of us went for a birthday meal. The food was good but unfortunately the online menu was out of date so two options for me were not available. The waitress was very nice but forgot to give us drinks menus. We ended up having 241 cocktails which were great. I'll definitely go again.
Good food and service, but the beer I was on ran out. Friday night disco is basically an over 40s meat market. Quite entertaining if you're not part of the market.
Felt like I was being taken back in time. Such a beautiful place inside and out. Rooms are very spacious and comfy. The food is really nice and is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The only thing I would say is that the carpets in the room need a clean. Apart from that, I would most definitely 💯 stay again and would recommend.
We hired the function room above the pub for a ‘Celebration of Life’ for my Mother, the room was spacious & welcoming absolute ideal, thank you.
We had a great experience when we hired out the function room for our party. Hannah was very accommodating and everything went as planned. Venue you was perfect and the staff on the night were great too. I would definitely recommend.
I no longer live in the area but visited this lovely restaurant on Oct 28th 2023 and seen how it has been transformed to a beautiful standard from years ago when I used to come here

Firstly, let's get this straight, The New Inn is NOT a Restaurant. It's a very noisy Pub/Bar that serves food. We had booked a table for 20 people, for an 80th Birthday meal and were told this was no problem. Yes, it was a Saturday evening, but we were not prepared for the amount of noise from the crowded bar. Our 'table for 20' turned out to be 4 or 5 random tables scattered around the bar area! My wife spoke to the staff who, in fairness to them, went out of their way to rearrange our tables to give us one table of 12 and one of 8, at the quietest (but still not quiet) end of the bar. We were all a little apprehensive about the evening ahead, but eventually settled in to peruse the menu. Our orders were taken and the two young ladies looking after us did a fantastic job of waiting on us. Our food arrived in good time and pretty much all together. Everyone agreed that the food was extremely good. The staff looked after us all extremely well and nothing was too much trouble. Despite the very loud atmosphere and the initial disappointment, we all had a great evening and everyone commented on the great food and brilliant customer service. My thanks go out to Aimee and Alex(?) - You did a fantastic job and we appreciate it.
Now, would I go again? Yes, but not for a Saturday evening meal. We'll definitely pop in for a lunch or maybe a midweek evening meal, but never a Saturday evening!
Only went for a drink with friends. Great atmosphere, lots or room and lovely looking smart bar ladies.
Me and my wife held our wedding reception at the New Inn in their upstairs function room and we had a fantastic experience throughout.
Matt and Amiee worked tirelessly during the day to help everything go as smoothly as possible. Even when some of our dinner guests were delayed by over an hour Matt was able to flex dinner plans around us on the fly. All the food that came out was delicious and hot despite the delay and a good portion size too. All of our guests commented about how yummy the food was, especially the Seabass.
The whole team were really accommodating and communication was very easy. We couldn't have picked a better place to have our reception. Thank you!

We came here for a Sunday roast, which was very nice.
The only thing we've noticed that the staff was not wearing any face covering which might be scary for some people but we were not bothered.
The dessert was a bit disappointing as I've asked for the sticky toffee pudding which I love but instead I got a piece of basic chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and strawberries and no mention about this cake not being available.
There was no lactose free milk or cows milk either and the waitress said they have to go to Sainsbury's to buy some milk so we'll have to wait for our coffees.
Everything went well until after we've finished our desserts and were still drinking our coffees which we had to wait for when we've been asked to leave the table as the next guests have arrived.
It was a bit surprising that we had to get up with our drinks and go outside as all the tables were reserved in the bar area.
The overall experience was OK though.
Great staff and friendly atmosphere, great place to get a good feed and let loose a bit.
