First time visiting Retreat over in Bromley Cross and didn't know rely know what too expect but the place is pretty Trendy.
We were seated up on the balcony in one of the booths and have to say it did make for a more intimate dining experience.
The food was rely good!!. 😋 tried the seabase Risotto
Perfect for a delicious little lunch date. Food was amazing as ever although my husband did find the spicy chicken wings too salty. Highly recommend the cocktails!
Never disappoints this restaurant, the food always the same high standard, staff are lovely (perfect sense of timeliness!) and I love eating on the upstairs level

The food is excellent and its ideal for a special occasion. Even on a quiet night they are able to maintain a good atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only negative is it's a bit expensive for more regular visits

Really good service. All the staff are very polite and helpful. The food is always excellent. The onion petals starter is fantastic and we had 3 main courses all of which were cooked perfectly with good quality ingredients.
Really enjoyed a group meal here. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes good and the food is excellent. I absolutely recommend the skewers, they were so tasty. The cocktail menu is lovely and well priced also.
They do add a 10% service charge onto the bill without asking, but ask for it to be removed
Fabulous night
Family meal celebration, Party of 10 and pretty much we all had different meals, they all looked and were presented lovely and most importantly everyone of us enjoyed our meals.
I had the sea bass risotto it was really was delicious.

The Retreat has greatly improved over the last few years. The menu, while not extensive, is varied enough. The standard of cooking is excellent and is matched by the friendly , attentive service. We went on a Monday night, so it wasn't buzzing but had enough customers not to be funereal.
A comfortable place pleasing environment serving a wide variety menu, good food and service.
Though front of house staff could have given a better reception.
Confusing as phoned to make a booking, informed not necessary at the time visiting.
