Popped in today as I saw they had a new menu! They are having some work done on the front and it's already looking so much more welcoming Im sure it will look great when its all finished. I had the duck gyros and my better half had the chicken gyros. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Our experience from start to finish was marvelous. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it was nice and warm, they have inches on tap (my favourite!) And the food was the best in the area. They deserve all the credit and I hope they go from strength to strength! Going to come back for the "thirsty Thursday" which just so happens to fall on open mic night. King William you have a couple of new regulars!!!!!!!!!

Decided to come here for tea with the wife. Honestly, we thought it was closed with the work going on and we're going to turn around. Until we saw a sign (although dark) that said open as usual. And oh, boy, I'm glad we didn't turn around!!! We luckily stopped in on the day they released their new menu. What an absolute treat! I had the teriyaki chicken on noodles and my wife had the baked chicken and they were absolutely devine!! I would highly recommend this place (and have done) to everybody in the local area and beyond. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much. And the food is top notch!! Can't wait to see what it's like when the work has been done!

A really nice spot, with loads of cozy inside seating, multiple outside spaces, really attentive staff, some seriously good grub and a really relaxing atmosphere! I liked it so much that I asked if I could host an open mic night in this venue a while ago and the management were really nice, being willing to give it a chance. They’ve been nothing but supportive of the night, myself and all the acts that attend, some of which are younger musicians (as I mentor for an incredible local charity working with young aspiring musicians). The night is now a monthly feature, that’s growing in popularity with both the musicians and people attending to watch time on time. This has personally been beautiful to see, as the kids/teens/young adults always come with their families… often grandparents and siblings too! Creating a really safe and supportive space for the evening… All being made possible due to the welcoming atmosphere and staff of this top class establishment. There really aren’t many places as good as this for a family friendly afternoon/evening… or just to relax with friends. On top of all this… the food is literally incredible! Everything I’ve eaten is just spot on and served at a good speed and with a smile! I can not rate this place high enough! I work in between 4 to 7 (sometimes 9) bars/pubs/restaurants a week, all over England, in some really beautiful places and can comfortably say this is one of my absolute favourites! Thank you

Last weekend we went to the king William for Sunday lunch , I had the steak and ale pie best I’ve ever had, everyone in our party was equally impressed with their meals they chose. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to the staff for making it a lovely afternoon.

Went tonight for their New Years Tapas event. £25 each and it was three courses of great food, each course with upto three dishes. Also they had a brilliant live singer songwriter performing throughout the night. Whoever is thinking of the events at this great local recently is doing an excellent job please keep it up. We went to the family showing of the grinch before Christmas and that was great too.

Fabulous! Sunday lunch with the best roast beef I've had in ages. Initially I was concerned about the empty car park, did that reflect on the quality of the food? But absolutely not. The serving staff were outstanding, the dogs' menu was great AND all well priced.

Called in late lunchtime on a Thursday after a long walk. Friendly staff, very decent fish and chips which were served up in a decent time. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely food and plenty of it. Well worth the money. Was some rowdy customers but left before we started our food.
