Superb menu, superb food, fantastic service. Eat here and you will not be disappointed. Make sure you leave room for pudding!

Great find. Not for kids or fussy eaters. Small, intimate venue providing a tasty menu at surprisingly affordable prices. Ideal for couples or small groups of friends, the menu is not extensive but has been put together to provide a capable chef a good palette with which to work. Ramsey, the host, looks after his customers with just the right touch. Superb dinner.

What a special place! Ramsey has the true gift of hospitality. He chats, interacts, and welcomes his customers as if they were friends! Such a warm and genuine welcome! We came first time some years ago and returned this week to find the intimacy, ambiance, good food, and warm welcome unchanged!

Really beautiful food. We had the scotch egg, the stroganoff (with beef), and the creme brulee and lemon roulade. Everything was super fresh and skilfully cooked, the portions exactly right. We also loved the atmosphere - from decor to music, and the host was very friendly and gave us recommendations. We felt very safe with regards to covid measures, and cannot wait to return and taste more of the menu!
Edit: visited again yesterday to try both favourites and new (to us) dishes. Had the scotch egg and stroganoff again, as well as the pork loin main and goat's cheese starter. We also tried the cheesecake and bakewell tart. Eveything was simply exquisite, and Ramsey is always an excellent host. We hope to return again soon!
We had a wonderful meal here on our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious all homemade. The service was amazing Ramsey was the best host, very friendly and attentive to everyone who was dining there. I would definitely recommend and if we come back to Brockenhurst we will certainly dine here again.

Quite a jewel of a restaurant
This was a real find. Brilliant food and service from Ramsay Hammad. Bit quiet at first, but soon got fuller as the evening wore on.
Not the cheapest, but certainly not outrageously expensive either.
Highly recommended.
We had a superb meal at White Tails which is a delightful and intimate restaurant with an excellent menu at a very reasonable price. The host and owner, Ramsay was very friendly and most attentive. We highly recommend his restaurant and will definitely dine here again when next in the New Forest.
An absolutely beautiful meal in lovely surroundings. The food was fresh and delicious. We had steak and lamb, both of which were full of flavour and cooked to perfection! The creme brulee was the best I've had and the roulade as light as a feather. I will definitely visit again when I visit the New Forrest
Visited this restaurant for dinner last week for the first time. Lovely, old building with low ceilings, so be careful if you're tall. Booked for 6.00pm and were the only ones there for a while. It was pretty cold in the restaurant even though the radiators were on. Unfortunately, this made it a bit uncomfortable for my elderly mother in law. Service was good as was the food. Portions were on the small side, but that meant we had enough room for desert. Homemade cheesecake was lovely. Will visit again when next in Dorset.

This place is amazing, Ramsey is such a lovely guy so very attentive, with only him and a chef, they have alot to do but still manage to take time and chat to you, would highly reccomend visiting for amazing food and Ramsey.
Incredible meal, such a lovely atmosphere and Ramsey was so friendly. Every element of the meals were delicious, beautifully cooked sea bass, amazing salmon ‘cannelloni’! Running out of words to enthuse about this place, a real find, we will definitely be back as soon as we can!
Superb food and exceptional service from White Tails this evening. We had a 3 course meal for my birthday treat. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. This little gem of a restaurant really does go that extra mile with the quality of the food and the standard of hospitality to leave you wanting to go back for more.
