What Jalapenos? served with Cajun Fries and a side of mixed bean salad
Recently was in Broadway in August 2023. Had lunch in Flipside. Not had a Gourmet Burger before but this was excellent, moist and tasty, the Jalapenos provided the right amount of heat for me. Very filling burger. Very good experience and lovely waiting staff at Flipside. They have a garden seating area if you want to be outdoors at the back as well. Would highly recommend.

During our visit to the charming village of Broadway, we decided to give Flipside restaurant a try. While our experience was not without its upsides, we left with mixed feelings about the overall dining experience.
To start, upon entering the restaurant, we had the impression that we were the first customers of the day. The atmosphere inside was a bit dreary, and the cooking smoke had permeated the air, leaving a slightly off-putting aroma. However, we were optimistic about the meal to come and decided to give it a chance.
Unfortunately, the service seemed a bit distracted, and it was clear that the staff could have been more attentive to our needs. This did detract from our experience somewhat, as we felt a bit neglected and not entirely welcome.
On a brighter note, the food at Flipside was actually quite good. The menu boasted an array of classic American-style dishes, and our meals were well-prepared and tasty. However, we couldn't help but feel that the prices were not entirely justified, given the overall experience. We were left feeling that the value for money could have been better, and we would have expected more for the price.
To give a comparison, Flipside reminded us of Five Guys, with its fast-food-style atmosphere and menu. While we enjoyed the food, we felt that the overall experience and service were lacking, especially given the prices charged.
In conclusion, our experience at Flipside was a mixed bag. While the food was good, the atmosphere and service were somewhat disappointing, and the prices felt a bit steep for what was offered. While we cannot deny the quality of the food, we would hesitate to recommend Flipside to others, and there are other dining options in Broadway that may offer a more well-rounded experience.
I had the Flippin' Hot Chicken which was the best chicken burger I've ever had. The chicken was so crispy and juicy and the combination of flavours all worked together. It is very hot though, just the way I like it. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant whenever we're in Broadway.
We went here for dinner whilst on holiday. It gets very busy so book in advance. The food is top notch- highly recommend. The gentleman who works front of house was very welcoming and friendly. The menu had so much amazing sounding food it was hard to pick so we ended up getting a mix and sharing it amount the table. Would visit again if in the area.
Went out for lunch and had a really nice ‘big cheese’ burger; which was delicious and smelled excellent, seeing the great reviews tempted me to go and I was pleasantly surprised on how well the service was, and how kind they were, desert was also exceptional which I went for the classic Brownie and vanilla gelato, overall great service. Nice and friendly staff and 5/5 experience,
What can I say - great food, great staff, and great decor in this establishment! Definitely a gourmet burger done right. We will definitely hit this place up again whenever in the area. (seriously...those fries!!!)
This used to be my absolute favourite place to go for a burger when my friend and I visit Broadway. I guessed something had changed when the exceptional garlic mayonnaise (homemade) and the peanut butter burger had disappeared from the menu. We were told that it’s now under new management and ownership. Also, I like my burger pink which I didn’t have to request before and it’s now well done, so expect I should ask if I go again. The service is good and the food is good it just doesn’t quite measure up to how it was with the previous owners. I also miss the really cheerful chap who used to meet and greet.
The best plant-based burger I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a lot! Absolutely amazing. Even my meat-eating friend said he would have ordered it himself.
Lovely staff. Nice vibe, pretty little terrace area out back. Was empty at 6pm on a Wednesday, but full outside by 7pm.
Prices about average for Broadway. Bill was about £25pp including tip, for a burger and a couple of drinks.
We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is first class. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. A nice 'feel' to this place. I would definitely book before a visit gets busy.
We ended up here by accident while on holiday. The food could not have been any better! My husband had a two brothers burger and onion rings, and I had a show me Merck chicken sandwich with slaw. We ordered a side of rosemary fries.

Came straight from Birmingham to try their delicious burgers and meet these cool guys who run this business. Totally recommend it, cozy place, friendly service, lovely menu with a few burgers - easy to choose.
P.S. We arrived late 1h before they close (approx. at 21:00) and they kindly served us, even though it was Friday 30/12!
Fantastic place if you love burgers. Quality food, freshly cooked and well presented. Great atmosphere. If you are in Broadway and feel hungry, go here. There are vegetarian options too
The food is excellent quality at a reasonable price. We ate in the garden at the back, peaceful away from the main road. Very clean and well presented.
The service was very good and always polite and with a smile.

Fantastic Burger restaurant!
I have been here twice recently and it has been perfect on both occasions. You certainly won’t find a better burger in Broadway or in the surrounding area.
The waitress who served me on both occasions was super friendly, welcoming and always smiling. I didn’t catch her name but this was on Friday 12th May at lunchtime.
The restaurant is super clean and immaculate! Also in one of the most beautiful buildings on the High Street.

Went for lunch while on holiday in the area. Service is great. The staff quickly put together a table for 7 of us and were so friendly and accommodating. Burgers were delicious! A hit with everyone.
Amazing! We had the stateside and show me merci chicken burgers and some onions rings. Show me merci was the best burger I've had in ages. Service was great too. Will absolutely come back to have another!
Genuinely really nice! Very generous with all ingredients, you get exactly what you ordered, juicy burgers, not a loud place, quick service, clean… it was just really really pleasant :)
