Made to feel very welcome on arrival. The kitchen was close to finishing but the staff were more than happy to take a late order. We both had pie and chips bothe pies were fantastic with crispy pastry and rasty fillings. All the staff were very friendly.
Beautiful Sunday lunch - melt in the mouth roast beef, lovely roast veg and cauliflower cheese. Starters also good - but quite filling so didn't manage pudding. Friendly staff. Nicely timed service not too rushed.
We booked a night at The Horse & Hound and were very impressed . Staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful , furnishings were lovely , bed very comfortable and linen lovely, good quality biscuits , complimentary soaps ,shampoo etc , nice touches ..we had evening meal in hotel which was faultless , freshly cooked and tasting homemade and breakfast next morning was equally delicious ..Won't hesitate to book again ,thank you so much ..
Had Sunday lunch here in the pub. I enjoyed my roast. Wife had the ploughman’s plate. This place was full of life, and we enjoyed our food and drink. Very solid place.
The Sunday roast was quite tasty. The staff was friendly but it was very strange. We went in, asked if they had a table available and were told immediately we should have booked in advance. Meanwhile during our whole stay, the pub was only half full.
Good food. Fabulous staff. Not as busy or expensive as the other pubs in Broadway as it is at the end of the main street but well worth the walk.
Great family meal, had the mixed roast dinner, not on the menu but they happily have us both pork and beef! Super tasty!
Welcoming, cosy pub. Sat outside on the raised, covered decking on a sunny day and it's lovely. Everyone so friendly, lots of great dogs, lots of great beer.
Food was nice but pricey for what you got
Dec 22 - Still the same friendly owners running the pub and did a good job catering for our group of 9 in the main bar for our post Xmas visit, seemed the defacto Broadway pub to go to, for dog owners needing of refreshment...!!
Feb 22 - Friendly pub with nice food and Ale's in this Cotswolds tourist town.
Great atmosphere, really enjoyed the gorgeous chunky chips. Had a good selection of beers and drinks, and we were grateful for the roaring fire on such a cold day. Helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. It was quiet and peaceful inside (lunchtime mid-week).
We had a lovely lunch here. My wife had burger and chips and I had chicken and mushroom pie and chips. Both were delicious and a healthy portion size. Service was spot on and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back when we next visit the area.
Broadway itself is a lovely place always busy, The drive/ ride over is lovely which ever way you go, You can get a steam train from Gloucester to Cheltenham to Broadway which is really nice..
My first visit to this pub and I have to say clean, tidy, The staff are lovely and friendly, Atmosphere was lovely, Was busy for food which looked really good, We going to go back and try the food, Take in Broadway and sights, And definitely this pub for refreshments and a nice relax
Great place for Sunday lunch, food plentiful and good value, staff lovely, beer cracking too!
Last minute booking for Sunday lunch and the staff could not have been friendlier and were so helpful and thoughtful. The roast lunches were delicious, huge portions and very freshly cooked food. The inn has a lovely relaxed feel about it. Would highly recommend.
Nice food, but a touch pricey. Also, they didn't have any orange cordial - never been to pub without it.
Good selection of beers, friendly staff and a lovely open fire. For food we didnt want a full meal so just had a bowl of chips and onion rings which were jolly nice -very generous portions.
