We frequently use this Carvery it’s absolutely lovely. We drive from Walsall!! That’s how good it is, you get plenty of meat all the vegetables you could want! Everything is fresh, staff are friendly and the deserts are 10/10! Try the cheese cake you won’t regret it! I highly recommend this place. T
It has been some time since I last visited the Royal Oak, but was not disappointed. Participating in a " small plate carvery/ dessert, I was still able to have more than enough had I of put it on my plate. The meat was beautiful...Turkey/ Beef. ...beef was so tender. Whippy ice cream was really nic
The carvery Sunday lunch was delicious! The meats were very tender and tasty and there was a great choice of 14 vegetables. Great selection of tasty desserts, including an in-house ice cream parlour and whippy machine. Highly recommend!
The most beautiful carvery! A little more expensive than some maybe but you get what you pay for! (Drinks are very pricey though - over £7 for a small O.J and a Pepsi) 3 choices of meat (turkey, pork and beef) Personally I would love to see gammon as an alternative to one of the others but that's ju
Truly FANTASTIC carvery, absolutely deserving of its ultimate boasting! It is, without doubt, the best I have ever had. The meat filled my plate before anything else was added. Perfect roast potatoes, large succulent boiled, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, and a homemade cheesecake dessert that was delic
Updated since 24 June 2023 Very cozy, and warm carvery establishment set in a stunning landscape. Hospitality: 4.5/5 service was really good. Time slightly started to get annoying on waiting time. Food: 5/5 past- I had fish'n chips and it was very delightful. Chunky chips were unique as usual. 🍟
Very good chef indeed the carvery is very popular , good large parties and also in a separate level is quite romantic kids are well catered for with a play area large park at the rear which is secure and free, there is also an are outdoors for eating
Best carvery around. We aren’t exactly local but often make the trip because of how good it is. Great selection and reasonably priced considering the quality
The BEST carvery!!! I recommend 100%
Great carvery, not like certain 'chains' where vegetables are like 1960's school dinners! Good selection of veg' all fresh and hot. Good portion of meats. Great pleasant quick service. Lower atmosphere rating due to the fact that we were the first customers of the day!
A really lovely busy pub. We had the carvery which was excellent, the choice of vegetables was brilliant. The outside area was extremely well presented. Unfortunately, the weather meant we had to sit inside, but the inside was as nice as the outside!
Love the carvery here. Have visited several times over the past couple of months. Lots of veg options, all nicely cooked. Service is good. We'll organised with plenty of staff.
Woke up today starving and decided to go here. Had our wedding reception here 16 years ago. Very busy when we arrived. But the restaurant manager managed to seat the two us for the carvery. The food was amazing! Hot and tasty. Served on piping hot plates. Probably the best carvery I have ever had. W
