We chose to come to whittles for their special Valentine's menu. Wow we chose the right place. From the second we were welcomed in, we felt like royalty. The team at whittles really went to town on the decor for Valentine's, it was really appreciated the place looked amazing! We started off with two beautiful cocktails made by Amanda downstairs in the lounge area, before being taken upstairs to the stunning restaurant. Connor was so attentive all night constantly topping our wine up.
The food was unbelievable. The cheese souffle is the greatest souffle I've ever eaten, better than the jetty's. The beef wellington cut like butter, and the pastry was still crispy, perfect. Dessert was stunning too. 5* isn't enough, give this place a try, there really isn't anywhere else around that compares. Thank you for a wonderful evening whittles, we'll be back!
A delicious selection of cakes to choose from, great coffee and jugs of Pimm's. What's not to love?! The sun trap outside ia a great place to watch the world go by.
I was asked tricked by my work colleague Sally where I would most like to eat and locally, and I mentioned whittles as a must go to place...
Then for my birthday I was treated to £80 worth of gift vouchers.
We visited on Friday March 4th booking a table for 2.
As you will see from the interior pics, on entry, you knew it was going to be amazing.
Mia, our hostess, server and awesome bar tender, looked after us meticulously from the outset, and is an absolute credit to whittles.
The meal from the beginning was awesome :I chose the black pudding scotch egg (check out the pics to see how perfect it was), my partner chose the soufflé and was NOT disappointed.
We both opted for the sea bass - sublime!!! The acidity of the salad cutting through the brown crabmeat emulsion and rosemary butter 👌👌. We also decided on the tarragon carrots and shallot crisp which didn't detract from the flavours of the bass.
As much as we would have loved dessert, the table next to us, and the one lady's incessant whining forced us retire to the lounge. Mia was there to rescue our ears with THE MOST AWESOME NESPRESSO MARTINI'S. (IF you ever go to whittles just for cocktails... Make sure Mia makes them 🍸🍸👌👌
I was lucky enough to chat with Steve Goswell the executive chef at whittles, and was completely absorbed by his passion of how he wants to take whittles.
It was unfortunate that when we went, there were only 2 other tables (one with the whining lady), yet evenings are way busier with much more atmosphere, and we will be going back for sure
Stunning, stylish and just a little bit glam, why not! Lunch menu plenty to choose from, different evening menu. Food delicious and nicely presented. Staff attentive and knowledgeable with good service. Some might say a little pricey, I say you pay for quality and you’re certainly guaranteed of that here. An enjoyable eating experience. Fine dining at its best.
5/5 Stars.
Excellent food and service. *Complementary glass of bubbly for my Mother (as it was Mothers Day).
Roast cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Myself and 2 friends visited Whittles on Friday evening… what a great evening.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the restaurant is decorated to a very high standard, a bar area as you walk in with a separate dining area. The tables are spaciously positioned meaning you are not on top of the table next to you.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous and well priced.
I would definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you.
We have been dining at Whittles since day one of it opening and it has since become a personal favourite of ours. We have been for private and work engagements and we are always impressed with both the service and food. A real asset to Broadstone and a must try if you haven’t been already!
Excellent Roast Dinner - Thank you Connor and the team for an absolutely lovely roast dinner - the beef was tender and cooked just right, with crispy roast potatoes, plenty of vegetables and really flavoursome gravy. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend thank you 😊
Great restaurant. Really good food and very well looked after by the staff.
We will be going again.
Quite a nice place to have the work Xmas meal. The food was very good and came in generous portion sizes. My only minor complaint was that they had a fairly small selection of beers to pick from.
Went there today for lunch, I am Coeliac so can only eat Gluten Free food. I mentioned this when I booked the table and when we arrived the lovely waitress had a separate menu ready for me and it highlighted exactly what I could have.
All the food was superb and the service was excellent
Went to this restaurant last night, had a great meal in very stylish surroundings. The food was excellent and the service of a high standard. The prices compared favourably with similar restaurants in Poole and the surrounding areas. There was plenty of choice on the drinks menu. We live within a few minutes walking distance to the venue, not sure if this will be a good thing or not!! Have already made a second booking.
Had dinner here on Saturday evening and had a fantastic experience! We started with a number of cocktails, including one called the bees knees which really was the bees knees! Following this we had starters, I had the seared trout which was absolutely superb and I’d highly recommend. For our mains we all had different dishes, each one was an absolute taste sensation! The food was so good we treated ourselves to dessert as well, which were also great. To finish we had espresso martinis which rivalled that of the finest London cocktail bars. To summarise it was one of the most enjoyable dinners I’ve had in years and I can’t wait to return! Thank you for having us. 😊
I have been for dinner a couple of times at Whittles and have enjoyed lovely meals both times. The food is seasonal and fresh and uses lots of local ingredients. The prices reflect the quality of the food and are comparative to similar restaurants in the area. I'm looking forward to trying their lunch deal next week.
I travelled from Midlands to stay with my nephew. They chose Whittals as a "treat" night out. The food was excellent. Clearly a lot of skill and work went into all of the dishes. Some may think it a little costly. I say "you get what you pay for" and our food was worth every penny.
Hands down, the best Xmas dinner I’ve had ever! Service, atmosphere, presentation 10 stars ⭐️ well done team Whittles
