Lovely restaurant with contemporary interior, I had green curry with coconut rice which was delicious and medium spicy spot on! I'd certainly recommend Tiien to anyone who'd like to experience authentic Thai cuisine. The staff were very attentive and service very quick. I felt that they could slow down with taking plates away to give you a bit more time between courses but that's something I experienced in other restaurants too.

I visited Tiien Thai on Thursday 5 March 2020 in the evening, a weekday during term time. I was with five other people. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place.
I parked in the street nearby the restaurant - parking was easy.
The restaurant comprises of one reasonably sized main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service.
The team were very friendly and welcoming - we got everything we ordered in good time and enjoyed the experience.
I enjoyed a selection of shared starters including chicken satay, sweetcorn cakes, spring rolls and prawn crackers, a chicken and cashew nut stir fry with coconut rice for my main course and banana fritters for dessert. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was reasonable value for money, I paid around £30 for three courses and drinks. We had a bit of a discussion around use of a discount offer - as this had not been mentioned at the time of booking it was not allowed but we were offered some discount instead - kind of spoilt the evening a little if I'm honest - either offer discounts or don't, why add T&C's like mention when booking, is it so they can reduce the portion sizes for you or something, just makes things look a little sinister but the environment was nice, food was good and the service otherwise was perfect so all in all a good night!
Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would come and visit again.
The food is delicious. For drinks we did have to keep calling someone over so service wasn't anything to write home about but with the food being so delicious, I do look forward to my next visit.
The BEST Thai food I have ever eaten. Extremely fresh and full of flavour. The staff are amazing and the restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean/ well maintained.
Our second dining experience at Tiien after a very, very favourable first.
First of all, this place is tucked away but seemingly very popular so book ahead of time if your looking for a friday/saturday dinner. The staff are both super friendly and attentive. Service is quick but don't feel pressured to rush it, the food is definitely worth savouring!!
Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It also feels true to its origins. So grab a Chang and settle in for a 1st class tour of Thai food!
A few recommendations from us would be the goong talai, a glorious and hot/spicy prawn starter. The weeping tiger steak and tamarind duck are both positively delightful, the steak has a spicy sauce (served separately) that is tremendous and the duck has a sweet and plentiful sauce but the duck skin is perfectly crispy!!
All in all there's something for everyone. The place has a buzzing atmosphere, a good drinks selection and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommended 👌
Table of 8 including my 1yr old son. Nice interior to the restaurant, drinks were relatively quick, fairly spicy prawn crackers and sweet chilli dip arrived quickly enough.
Food ordered and arrived within about 20 mins.
Hot, tasty, well presented with ample portions.
Left feeling satisfied and would go back.

Arrived and the drinks have been served straight away following by great portion sizes starters and then delicious main meals. Service was fine, no delays, all came nice and quick! Happy to return and recommend it! 🙂 Thank you!😊
We've loved this restaurant for years and took our 13 year old son for his first Thai meal. Food and service were great and he loved it as much as we do.
Discovered this authentic Thai restaurant this evening. The food was excellent, the real thing. Only downside; a bit noisy on a Friday evening.
