Nice typical local pub in historic St. Peters. Friendly and comfortable. Has a pub garden. Parking difficult, as on the corner of the High St and a busy road. Not many pubs like this left. Go in most days, hope to see you there.

I have just held my grandmas wake here, the staff were absolutely amazing they put on a fantastic spread of food and they were accommodating for every need that we had during the day. I couldn't recommend the Red Lion any more will be back for a drink and will absolutely hold any family get togethers in the future there.

Friendly staff very welcoming and a nice quite pub . I dint visit often but when me and my partner do we are always made feel welcome. . They have love bands/singers regularly and by not living far away they appear to have good entertainment for the community.

Nice Pub, we've been a few times over the years. Always been a happy, friendly atmosphere. They are dog-friendly which in my opinio means it is run by good people

A good local pub a bit scruffy, but very friendly staff, a little pricey, well worth a visit.

The Red Lion in St Peter's in Thanet, Broadstairs, is a large traditional style pub at the corner of High St. and Vicarage St. The interior has been refurbished to modern standards but still traditional style. My visit found staff friendly, the pub food good and reasonably priced, and the beer well kept. A new menu since refurbishment has been added, more upmarket but still affordable, with lunch specials, afternoon teas, and barista coffee. Sundays feature roast dinners and live local music. I visited here during Broadstairs Folk Week to watch The Okee Dokee Band, and young children and families were welcome. The pub offers a function suite with buffet room for hire. There are outside areas for seating: one on Vicarage St, the other separated from the pub car park on the more secluded High St which is a nice paved patio garden behind a picket fence, with bench tables, climbing ivy, and flowers in planters and hanging baskets. Drop into this pleasant local if you are passing or staying in the area.

Very friendly local pub with music on a weekend and a great Sunday afternoon meat raffle (we just won some chicken for dinner!). A nice, traditional pub well worth supporting.
