I am going to keep this short for a change. When we visit fathered in Broadstairs we ofter eat in other place, this was the first time eating in the Sardinia, unlike members of the family. It was a very pleasant surprise, great value for money, food was excellent and we will be back next time we're in town.
Wonderful Italian restaurant. Had no problems getting into the restaurant in my wheelchair. They had gluten-free options including gluten free pasta. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend a visit. Everyone really enjoyed their food
Great tasting food, with a sea view from our table. Service was spot on. The only downside is that it was a little noisy for my elderly father with hearing aids.
Lovely meal with family. I had T bone steak off the specials menu, it was lovely and tender and tasty. My partner had the chicken and mushroom in a creamy sauce with sautéed potatoes and she love it. My eldest daughter had spaghetti carbonara and thought it was good to. My youngest had her usual margarita pizza which she enjoyed. Service was swift and very polite, so great tasting food, great friendly service and great value will be back for more. Excellent.
Great place to eat, all 3 courses were excellent, service a bit strange, but overall would return.
A lovely restaurant in a lovely location !
The service was so quick and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious, would recommend to all !!!

Garlic 🧄 Bread with Cheese 🧀
Rustica Pizza 🍕😋
For a mid week lunchtime, it was busy.
Not the most friendly welcome from the waitress and some other staff seem unhappy. One member for staff very cheerful though. The food choice, both lunch and off menu was good.
Service was quick. The food was well cooked, but not extraordinary.
Still would be a nice place to take friends
Fantastic Italian restaurant, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a bruschetta to start which was incredible. Very flavourful, one of the best I’ve tried before - the portion is also decently sized, making it great to share. Their pappardelle pasta was fantastic, perfect al dente texture and very nice creamy sauce. The rustica pizza was also very nice.
The quality of food is amazing and prices are very reasonable. We walked in for lunch and got a table for seven with no issues, but I would recommend pre-booking for dinner as it gets very packed in the evening during summer.
Ok, so second time around visiting this establishment and as usual absolutely fabulous. Located on the main road in Broadstairs, it offers a family dining with a view to the busy bustle of the high street, also a glimpse of the sea to tempt you, you actually feel like you are abroad. It’s air conditioned and does not feel freezing cold.
The food is great, well prepared with quantity and quality. The starters are massive, really like a main portion so be prepared to eat! And over indulge.
The main courses are also a good large portion, I can recommend the risotto, cooked perfectly. The cannelloni was fabulous, fine minced meat with good seasoning and loads of cheese.
The staff are polite, courteous , attentive and are quick to act.
They pay Attention to detail, replacing cutlery as plates are cleared, and topping up drinks as they pass. They give the impression that nothing is to much trouble.
There is limited outside seating and as it is next to the road, is not my preference, so when booking Maybe just check as the online booking doesn’t account for this.
Go there and enjoy!
Wow! What can I say this has got to be one of the best places for food in Kent!
Had a wonderful meal here with friends, lovely staff and can’t wait to come back!; I strongly recommend the tiramisu!! X
Amazing restaurant and food definitely recommend , we came down to broadstairs all the way from Bristol and were recommended this restaurant, the service and food was amazing and my 3 year old son had a blast! 100% recommend
This was a meal with my son, to celebrate my birthday this evening. The food was delicious, and the service was first class.
The only down side for mexwas that it was full and therefore quite noisy. However, that won't stop us returning.
Restaurant was fully booked so we were glad to have booked in advance (thought it was strange for a Wednesday night but that's summer holidays for you).
The Bruschetta (with added chilli oil) was lovely, and by god the Penne Arrabbiata was to die for! Le Trofie Primavira was also good.
Finished the evening off with desserts. Service was slow but that was to be expected with the restaurant packed. Well worth a visit and I definitely would recommend!
We had a lovely meal here with family, we were well looked after and the food was delicious. There is no rushing between courses and we were allowed to sit and talk for a long while.
Here’s my review of Sardinia from today’s lunch thanks to the team for making our day out special.
Well having been to a few other restaurants in Broadstairs as it’s my friends favourite place, I looked on TripAdvisor and booked based on the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. I booked for 12:15 but having walked round the town and had the cobwebs blown from us by the very strong wind that was blowing we arrived at 12pm. The front doors were already open and the staff were tucking into Penne with tomatoes and basil, garnished with Parmesan. Always a good sign if the staff are eating Italian food in an Italian Restaurant.
I apologised for my early arrival, and was shown to a table by the window overlooking the sea, with a lovely warm breeze coming in. My friends sat and relaxed after our walk. We were then approached by a waitress who promptly took our drinks orders and disappeared. The drinks arrived promptly and we noted that the once empty restaurant was rapidly filling up! A good sign, for drinks we ordered a house red which was a very quaffable Montepulciano (the village I used to be a tour guide in during the 1980’s) it is a medieval hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by vineyards, it’s known for its vino nobile red wine. The Torre di Pulcinella is a clock tower topped by a figure of the Pulcinella, a commedia dell’arte character. On the Piazza Grande is the 14th-century Palazzo Comunale, with a tower offering views of the surrounding countryside. Also there is the Duomo, with a huge triptych above its altar.
It’s a lovely fruity red, perfect with pasta and pizza, I ordered a pepperoni pizza, but for starter’s I chose the Caprese Tricoloure mozzarella and tomato sprinkled with Balsamic and basil, Kate had deep fried Mozzarella in breadcrumbs with light salad, and Ann had a bowl of olives. Once we all had a glass of the Montepulchiano, the starters arrived and we interrogated the staff as to where they were from. One stand-out friendly waiter was born in Albania, but brought up in Greece, he was charming and fun, really made us laugh.
The starters were lovely, we had a carafe of iced tap water too as I was driving I could only have a small glass of wine! Then our mains arrived even with a now full restaurant everyone was happy and laughing a great atmosphere. Ann ordered a linguini with king prawns and clams, Kate ordered spaghetti carbonara, which she doused in Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
As you’ll see from my photos the food was fresh, the tastes were excellent too and with two bottles of house red we only paid just under £100 for all three including tips.
If you’re not sure where to go this is a great option in Broadstairs.
We had a lovely meal for our wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and probably the best homemade pasta I have had for a long time. The restaurant has a nice feel and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back!
