Food was remarkable, fish was sublime.
Staff could be abit more chatty. Didn't come across very friendly, but may of been having a d bad day.
Importantly food was good, credit where credits due.
The only chip shop near the beach that sells everything I love: rock, chips, onion rings, curry sauce and a bread roll.
All very enjoyable to sit by the sea with in the evening.

Great experience, very friendly attentive owner, couldn't do enough for us. Lower mark for Atmosphere is simply because we were the only diners at the time.

whenever me and the family visit Viking Bay we dine in this place, fresh, tasty and delicious fish (COD) every time, service is very friendly I highly recommend this place if you want to satisfy your hunger
Excellently sized large cod, great value for money, but far more importantly, fresh, thick and perfectly cooked 5* from me!
Delicious fish and chips, where vegetarians can also easily grab a bite! Royal feast for two at a more than decent price, good variety of offered foods - from hamburgers (halloumi, veggie, beef etc.) to chips (sweet potatoes included), all the basics are there. Portions are massive, so unless you're either starving or sharing, I believe a medium size is good enough in general: large is more than enough for two!
Staff is helpful and nice, overall 10 minutes wait for everything to be prepared, and can either eat in or take away. If you do the latter, just don't forget to grab some cutlery on your way out, it isn't necessarily included in the bag ;)
Our Retirement Club were having a late lunch and quiz.
The Fish Inn cooked 53 portions of 'mini' fish and chips for us.
They arrived exactly on time , piping hot and everyone said how delicious they were and they were certainly not mini.
Excellent value for money as well as being yummy.
Would highly recommend using the Fish Inn if you have a large number to cater for.
Food was really good. Premises were clean and didn't need to wait for too long. Portions of chips are massive :)
The Best piece of Cod I’ve had in years, my wife had Scampi which was equally as good, the Batter on the Cod was cooked to perfection, the amount of chips was a bit much but the chips were perfectly cooked, would highly recommend

Highly recommend! Came here yesterday with my family and the food was beautiful, cod and chips, gherkin and curry sauce was superb! Portions were really good too. I had to help my daughter finish her kids meal. The guy who served us was so friendly and very attentive. 10/10
Brought a few bags of chips to walk down and watch the fireworks with. Nice guy serving, clean shop and generous portions. Chips were crisp and not stodgy or greasy.

Nice, cozy looking chippy set in the heart of broadstairs.
The food is good, staff always friendly and offering quick service.
Only downside is that the waiting space is a bit tight, and that nobody cleans the walls or decorations. There is a marine theme display that has half an inch of black smokey dust on it waiting for the wind to shake it in some chips.
I had a bad experience few years ago but it seems that it is in the past. I gave a try again and I am really happy about my experience. The staff was friendly, just a little of wait and the portion was really good (quite generous actually for the fries!) Scampis and fries were perfectly cooked and not too much oil on them.
