If you enjoy a good cup of coffee then you must visit The Funicular Coffeehouse. Justin and Jan make you feel incredibly welcome, and it is lovely place to sit and catch up with friends.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. Definitely fresh slice of the cake, extremely well prepared coffee. The place itself is very friendly and cute right next to the beach with great choices of coffee, beer, food etc.
I’ve noticed it’s dog friendly too :) outdoor seating only.

Excellent range of coffees and treats; all at reasonable prices! The interior is a rare blend of chic and unique and the view of the beach is absolutely lovely. This really helps to provide a relaxing and pleasant environment for customers.
On top of all of this, the staff are very friendly and efficient; even when busy! I would really recommend stopping by if you are ever in the area!
It was a superb sunny day, and the Funicular has a privileged location.

We had coffee in the morning and a lovely Chapel down sparkling wine in the afternoon. The service was really good and the staff were lovely.

Great location, service, and food! They were very accommodating to make my scrambled eggs on sourdough with olive oil instead of butter when I told them about my dairy intolerance.
Funicular. What a nice way to say hello greeting and salutations. Nice coffee tea and hot chocolate. Great to see it back open will be down soon.

Picnic benches on the beach well recommended. Also extensive beer and good menu which all looked delicious
Amazing local place with coffees, drinks, and snacks. The vibes are perfect, just on the beach but protected enough that you’re not overwhelmed with the crowds on the sand. Can’t wait to come back!

This is such a cute place, they have variety of coffee, juice and smoothies. It is right on the viking bay. Would 100% recommend.

Really kind staff, and fresh and locally roasted coffee served in beautiful little cups. Located right underneath the staircase leading to the beach, and features both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend :)
