Amazing selection of desserts and sweet treats. The sundae and banana split were amazing, especially the soft ice cream and whipped cream. This is definitely a one of kind dessert place.
I had a good banana split (9£) at Morelli’s. Instantly and efficiently prepared by Ella. They use soft ice cream, so you have a sweet texture, but it melts faster than usual gelato. With a good portion of whipped cream.
No table service: you order at the counter, they make your dessert, they prepare your drinks, you pay at the till and go to your table. Double check cutlery as the first spoon I picked was not properly washed.

The gelato at this place was delicious, I loved the mango and pistachio in a cup, they were creamy, delicious and not too sweet. You could really taste the flavour of the gelato.
The ice cream is so good try the mint chocolate chip it is the best favourite out of all of them but they’re all good. I love mango it’s my second favourite ice cream they have. The mood is calm. If you on holiday to Broadstairs you must try it while you are there and going to the beach.
Open since 1932, Morelli’s is THE PLACE to go for ice cream, sorry Gelato, in Broadstairs. I have been coming here since I was a child and now I can extend this pleasure to my own children. My son with a dairy allergy loved their raspberry sorbet, whilst my eldest couldn’t wait to ‘share’ (not that I had much) the famous Knickerbocker glory.
Simply the best ice-cream you can buy. Plenty of flavours to choose from. Well worth a visit if you are on Broadstairs promenade.
A special treat! Great selection of ice creams! Nostalgic Decor! Pink sofas, reminds me of something like grease the movie! Loved it. Will defo be back!
I cannot fault this ice cream parlour. I ordered waffles and they were massive and so delicious- the coffee was also good. It’s a pretty cafe, with lots of seating, when we came there were lots of seats available, and it’s right by the beach. Definitely recommend coming here.
So fun! A great atmosphere and interiors are fantastic - like stepping back in time. Italian coffee was tasty. Friendly staff, would recommend a visit
