We've just had a 5* service for my Dad's birthday. Lovely staff, lovely customers, lovely garden and a slide for the kids. Plus they had several 0% alcohol options. Can't wait to go back.

Been meaning to visit for a while after the change in management. We were early on a Wednesday evening so not surprised that it was quiet. Food was above average and the staff friendly. Will definitely be back. Easy access and plenty of parking.

Lovely meal and our little pug was a welcome addition who sat quietly under the table. The time seemed to fly by and 2 hours later we realised it was time for us to retire for the evening, but not without a fine dose of kind hospitality and a sufficient abundance to satisfy any domestic soldier!

Very friendly lady at the bar. Best dog friend pub. We were supplied not only with a water bowl but a dog blanket for the 2 dogs. The food was fantastic. The vegan sausage casserole was probably the best pub meal I've had in a while and my friends burger was stunning. Will be returning.

Just had an amazing meal with friends. Nothing was too much trouble. Extra custard was given when asked. 7 of us and the food was delicious and hot and all served together. 3 of us going to go again with partners this weekend. 5 stars. X

Great pub, awesome service, and tasty food! The playground was a fun bonus for the children. We were a party of 13 and everyone left with full bellies!

Great pub with ample parking and a lovely garden, the menu was great, we had dressed crab and cray fish salad and mum had steak which was cooked to perfection 🥰 they have great bands and music on so we will definitely be back to enjoy that

Came for lunch today with a neighbour, who'd recommended it. Had a very warm welcome from the landlady, which was nice. Enjoyed our mains ( steak and ale pie, fish n chips and ham, egg and chips), I would have like a juicier pie, but that's personal taste. Although we were quite full, we couldn't resist dessert. All were nice but the big hit was the enormous portion of rhubarb crumble and custard! Delicious, and enough to share. A really enjoyable visit. I'd recommend for a leisurely lunch. It's a very laid back environment.

My friend has just moved along the road and the 2 of us booked a table for 6.30pm Friday March 3rd. Having not been before. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious. The dessert we had apple and ginger crumble was so moreish we will definitely be going bk just for that alone a great place with great staff . Friendly welcoming and great food what more can I say!

Having passed this pub many times we finally had enough time to stop and have lunch. Firstly the pub and its grounds are much larger than it appears to be from the road. The car park and spaces are large enough to enable comfortable parking. Inside has two distinct restaurant areas and outside there is a further area. Menu including the specials is huge with a very good vegetarian/vegan section. Portions are generous, well presented and delicious. Staff were young and friendly with loads of info on the pub. Just sorry we hadn't stopped before.

Really nice meal for the four of us. Didn't have to wait long. Good portions & very tasty. The Crumble for pudding was devine with custard. Glad we went because when it was the Rainbow Trout, the food had been awful so we'd avoided based on that experience. Now with new owners & pub name it's easy to recommend.

We have dined at the Broad Oak pub several times and cannot fault the excellent food, catering for all palettes and staff super polite. One of my number one places to eat, especially being a lactose veggie it so hard to find places to eat. Highly recommend. Clean, light and fresh feel to the place.
