Took the inlaws here for lunch, mum in law is coeliac, excellent choices for her, nothing too much trouble, made to feel so welcome, friendly professional courteous table service, food excellently prepared and cooked, no complaints... Total nostalgia trip for to 80+yr olds(in laws). Thank you

Great meal ,really was had the lamb leg also shep pie and a steak with chips and salad best ive had for a good while.Thank you it was our Mum's 77 birthday and you guys did us proud will definitely be back to good to miss . Good luck with youre Batand Trap season hope all goes well .

We had a fabulous meal for my daughters 21st on Sunday, as always the food was amazing and the service was fabulous. We had 8 children under 7 and 12 adults and the staff were just brilliant, I cannot recommend The Golden Lion enough. Can't wait to go back. Xx
