A very handy place to have a beer on a hot day while waiting for a bus. Beer and service good. Appears to be popular with the local daytime customers. (A few signs up suggest an upcoming change of hands so this review might date quickly)

Good selection of ales and lagers (including real ales) and some very nice wines at reasonable prices. A great local bar with friendly staff. Regular karaoke sessions if you fancy a sing along. This is a drink venue so no food.
Terrific place, great friendly bar lady, sorry no name, but works there full time. Nice court yard, background music. Very clean, great pint. Good vibe all round
Bar lady really friendly, great service, remembered my drink choice (unlike a lot of bars lately). She kept bar area sparkling - brasswork really clean. Friendly vibes from this bar.
Small bar but very friendly beers excellent have entertainment Friday's staff so friendly. Toilets nice and clean lots of sports on TV dog friendly as well don't do food but a lot of bar snacks available also taxi office opposite so handy to get home

We had a brilliant afternoon in the long bar with local freinds and freinds of theirs everyone is really happy and cheerful we found the landlord to be a laugh a minute with great staff helping him run this great pub I would highly recommend it as long as you have a sence of humer
