I had a chicken curry, egg fried rice and chips last night.
Curry and rice were great but the chips were over cooked and very hard and i could not eat them.
They went straight in the bin.
Would have been 5 stars if the chips were ok.
Very tasty Chinese. I wish they took card payment, but I won’t take any stars off because the food is so good! Just a suggestion of where an improvement could be made:)
Want to have a Chinese by the sea? Shove the fish and chips places, there 10 to a dozen in the uk. But a good Chinese, that’s something rare, like hens teeth.

We found Lucky boat whilst in Brixham on holiday. We were really impressed with the food. Really tasty, great portion sizes and Very reasonable in price.
Stayed at The Caravan Park this week and had 2 meals from here, both meals were lovely and plentiful, staff really polite. I will recommend on the holiday park face book page for future guest. Thank you Lucky Boat
Had a lovely sweet and sour Takeaway meal from here the other evening. Enjoyed the succulent Chicken balls as they were fried in a light batter, and not too doughy, so they didn't hit hour stomach like a ton of bricks.

I have used this takeaway for the past 10 years and would say its the best in Brixham. They deliver food also, and when I have a delivery the food is always hot. The food itself is very good. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, they will even do half portions of sweet and sour balls.

Cash only being a Downside but I understand the reasons behind it.
However food was incredible and plenty of it.
Went here with my family I had a chicken chalmain with the LOVELY Chicken balls. Best Chinese shop I've ever been as I've been here before and it was stone cold. Update! Went in there the other day and staff very polite and was a nice atmosphere
Have been coming to Brixham for years and never even knew this place existed..ordered from there today and have to say, pretty blown away. Fantastic food and really good value. Will definitely be ordering from there again next time we come down here..
Had Chinese from Lucky Boat tonight....duck in plum sauce and sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style. Very efficient service. Really lovely food and best duck in plum sauce ever!! Ignore the feedback I am fussy and very impressed 😀
Don't know what's with the earlier reviews either (New management maybe?)- phoned up at 515pm and ordered to a very friendly lady on the phone, asked for home delivery, she called when the driver was nearly there so I could meet him (was staying at a holiday park) and he arrived as soon as I got to
I have been going here for the best part of 6 months and I have to say, this is amazing!! Everything is on point and never had any problems or mistakes with the food, and amazing customer service too! Five stars :) thank you lucky boat!!x x x
Best Chinese food in Brixham in my opinion. Do home delivery but only take cash if they deliver, worth knowing.
