Rockfish is situated directly above the fish market in the pretty fishing town of Brixham in Torbay. We were lured in by its tagline that “tomorrows fish are still in the sea”, a promising prospect given just how unfresh we are used to seafood being back in Birmingham.  The interior is a gentle mixture of distressed wooden flooring, dark brown seating and cream walls.  The view from the windows is either to the town or out to sea, both are which are pleasant on the eye.

Had an amazing late lunch here after a walk along the coastal path. Staff were lovely, menu was amazing and I got a table right on the balcony overlooking the fishing boats coming in and out. Had the spicy prawn cocktail and the lobster, highly recommend. In my opinion well worth the money!

Lovely restaurant!! Alice was our waitress who was very patient and hospitable! Alice talked the group through the catch of the day and recommendations etc. Food was impeccable!! Full of flavour and great presentation. Very impressed with the extensive menu and overall restaurant vibe!! Highly recommend!

A nice meal meal, just not as good as Saltwater, which is cheaper. The view was good, but the lights were too dim, making it hard to see the food. Which is a problem when you have a boney fish like Dover sole. Curry sauce was interesting, but the mushy peas were average. The staff were friendly and efficient.

I've been lucky to visit Rockfish a couple of times now when I've been down to stay in the Brixham area for work and had great meals each time. Overlooking the fishing ports Harbour, you get a great view watching the boats and wildlife going in and out while you wait for your food. The staff are friendly and give you a great run down of the menu and Catches of the day. Which are as fresh as the boat they've just arrived on! Great food (only took a picture of the deliculous Scollops this time) as I was too eager to eat the main of pan fried Haddock in a garlic sauce and to full for a dessert! Also, a great range drinks from local to international beers! Easily go again.

The best restaurant I have ever been to. We got seated quickly, the menu had good options for everyone. Our waitress was fantastic and funny. The unlimited chips were delicious, so was the trout. Overall amazing food and service.

Perfect ambiance, lovely fresh food...allergies taken care of completely! No worries about those issues. We just found the service a bit slow and literally only one option for vegetarian. But happy overall.

A truly charming place for a delicious lunch and tremendous view. I loved their "Crispy Rockfish Tacos" (see photo) quite a bit. The overall design of the place and the location were both fantastic. Great work by and kudos to the "Rockfish" team!

Fantastic venue, attentive staff, lovely atmosphere we dined inside but outdoors looked fantastic overlooking harbour. Food excellent, a bit high end priced but different to what I could get at home. Dog friendly.

I recently visited Rockfish in Brixham and was blown away by the locations as well as the delicious food and friendly staff. The calamari and crab thermidor starters were both outstanding, and the fish and chips were some of the best I've ever tasted, The batter was perfectly crispy and the fish was cooked to perfection. Throughout our visit, the staff were attentive and welcoming, and they were all very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant, making for a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend Rockfish in Brixham to anyone looking for great seafood and a lovely atmosphere.
