Very nice place. Location is amazing by the Harbor but with limited view. Food was really tasty, delicious and well presented. Fresh fish and fresh mussels. Prices are reasonable, taking in account the quantities, freshness and the location. Staff are amazing and they are really nice and professional. We spent couple of hours and we really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Lovely fish restaurant on the front in Brixham - huge windows and plenty of light, always busy/popular so a good atmosphere and very friendly staff The food was very pleasant - perhaps not the most expansive menu and but I guess the clue is in the title! Were also very accommodating with our little one, lovely monkfish curry pictured

We are from germany and were here for the first time on July 15th and it was delicious. especially the fish because it was very tender and juicy. everything else was delicious too. We came back the next day and were not disappointed. the service was also great everyone was super nice. And the restaurant is super dog friendly, our dog received water and even some snacks. We are definetly coming back!

I recently visited Simply Fish in Brixham and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is located in a great spot very close to the harbor, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. The menu is full of delicious fresh seafood options, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, I highly recommend Simply Fish to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood meal in Brixham.

My other half and me both had the mussels and they are the best mussels in Brixham (we’ve been to Rockfish and there’s no comparison). The service was really lovely, both ladies couldn’t do enough and made sure my dog was comfortable! Yes dog friendly too! Provided lots of treats. I really recommend you eat here and get something different from the standard ‘fish and chips’ as we did and it was worth it!

We visited Brixham last weekend (Sat) as there was supposed to be a fish fest. We didn't noticed anything extraordinary on the harbour just the usual buzz of people enjoying the sunshine and being able to still sit outside. We decided on Simply Fish restaurant as we have eaten here numerous times when we lived in Brixham. Still great fresh cod & chips. Cooked to perfection. We had the smaller portion as it was lunch time and certainly sufficient for us with the large portion of mushy peas. Value for money. And all washed down with a Chilled beer what more do you want. There is a discretionary service charge in your bill that we were more than happy to pay as we would have definitely left a tip..

Some of the best traditional style fish and chips you can buy. Nice fish restaurant with a small range of seafood but focuses mainly on traditional style fish and chips. The quality of the food was a cut above your usual chip shop, I had a great, plump and fresh piece of cod with very light and crisp batter with proper fresh cut chip shop chips. Quick and friendly service and a nice range of local beers on tap. A little expensive (£15.50) but I honestly couldn’t fault it.

I highly recommend anyone to reserve a table a day or two before as it can be extremely busy. If you are lucky, then you may be able to book the same day. Anyhow, all staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was jovial and warm, with the dishes being served fresh. The three of us ordered a selection of starters, with the oysters being so delicious we ordered another plate. For main, we ordered lobster and chips, and some fish of the day (haddock) and chips. It was served piping hot and fresh. You can tell the food is not frozen and is caught the same day. If you love seafood then Simply Fish is for you. Pay a visit, as you will not regret it.

Amazing seafood restaurant. The lobster was very fresh and delicious with the garlic sauce. Fish and chips were good too. Scallops were really nice but one was just slightly undercooked. The restaurant is well decorated and spacious.

Excellent food and service. Special of skate wing in caper butter was great. Mussles went down a treat too. Home made tartar sauce would have topped it off nicely rather than from a jar. Well worth a visit to eat in rather than takeaway.

arrived at midday and the restaurant looked empty, went in and were offered any table, within ten minutes of us seating down the place filled up. so good timing. ordered fish of the day (hake) and the fish pie with a glass of wine. the fish pie was filled with mussels, prawns and smoked salmon, a mush topping with some sort of crust, and a side dish of crunchy carrot broccoli and braised shredded cabbage. I enjoyed this meal. the hake was perfectly cooked and more chips than we could eat.

Great fish, a lovely thick piece of cod in a crispy batter. Also the mussels moules marinara very good, perfectly cooked. Nice decor, bright and clean. Friendly and efficient service. A few pounds £ more than other local fish and chip restaurants but you get what you pay for, worth it.

The best fish and chips in the area and at such a great price. Always lovely and friendly staff, and you can see the quality from the whiteness of the fish and the colour of the batter. Seeing the fish prepared in front of you gives you a scope of how fresh it is as well, excellent chips as well, would recommend for anyone in the area.
