I ordered one of Robert's white chocolate gateaus for a family celebration and it was absolutely delicious. We all really enjoyed the cake, it was wonderful and beautifully presented. Perfect for our party! Very very yummy and looking forward to ordering again. Thanks Robert!
It's a nice little tea room and was quite busy. Doesn't open weekends, which I find a bit odd. The food was nice, but it is a cafe for adult tastes. It doesn't really do simple food for kids' tastes. They were helpful about this and made suggestions and were accommodating, but life would be a little
Found this place by accident. Just had their steak and ale pie with salad, best I’ve had in a long time, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit!
Lovely atmosphere and wonderful home cooked food. Perfect for an en-route stop off around lunch time
THE LADY THAT SERVED US WAS BRILLIANT. SHE WAS UNDER A BIT OF STRESS, FOR SOME REASON OUR ORDER CAME TO US WRONG ? SHE APOLOGISED AND QUICKLY, PUT IT RIGHT. WE HAD ORDERED STEAK AND KIDNEY PIE AND MASH. THE PIE AND MASH . WAS LOVERLY, THE PASTRY WAS VERY LIGHT AND THE FILLING WAS PACKED. ALL HOME M
Had jacket potato and salad . Did seem expensive but when it arrived it was beautifully presented and tasted lovely. Worth the stop for us
Lovely atmosphere and tasty food! I had to order ahead as I was on a work lunch break so short on time. They didn’t seem ideally setup for this, but to be fair food didn’t take long at all after we arrived. Food was amazing quality and freshly made (only gripe was my pie was a tad small). When w
Pleasant place to stop for coffee on a journey. Friendly staff. We asked for water and they took the trouble to serve it in a jug. We didn't have cake but the selection looked delicious
Just had the warmest welcome and the most wonderful lunch at Britford Farm Shop! Thank you!! 🥰 The Quiche was the best we have had and the Hot Apple & Ginger is a new favourite that we will be making at home now!! Only wish we'd had enough time to sample some of the lovely looking cakes! 🥮🍰🍥 Next ti
Went here recently for afternoon tea as part of a weekend away for a special occasion. As a large group, we arranged in advance and they were happy to accommodate us. The afternoon tea was delicious and generous (lots of lovely rolls, scones, cakes and pastries, with an impressive selection of teas)
This is a lovely homely place to meet with friends and have a chat, with lovely coffee and excellent homemade cakes - just try the chocolate gateaux and you will want to come back regularly! A limited food menu but all to a high standard and home cooked.
First visit we wanted a little break on our journey. Very impressed, covid friendly, real leaf tea,all homemade food ,cakes pastries etc. Very clean and loads of other treats to buy to takeaway.
Great selection of foods, savoury and chocolate... Beware of Google photo showing summer opening hours it’s out of date. Closed on Sundays (even in summer) and on Bank holiday Monday. Phone message appears to give correct opening hours.
Can recommend the blue vinny, broccoli and walnut quiche. Yummy. Very generous portion.
Coffee and Scone here this morning delicious. Wonderful atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. Purchased gooseberry jam to take home.
The tomato 🍅 soup was delicious 😋and such banter with the staff too🤩
Home made cakes (food generally too) and friendly staff make it a great place to eat or just have a coffee.
