I ordered one of Robert's white chocolate gateaus for a family celebration and it was absolutely delicious. We all really enjoyed the cake, it was wonderful and beautifully presented. Perfect for our party! Very very yummy and looking forward to ordering again. Thanks Robert!
It's a nice little tea room and was quite busy. Doesn't open weekends, which I find a bit odd. The food was nice, but it is a cafe for adult tastes. It doesn't really do simple food for kids' tastes. Found this place by accident. Just had their steak and ale pie with salad, best I’ve had in a long time, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit!

Went here recently for afternoon tea as part of a weekend away for a special occasion. As a large group, we arranged in advance and they were happy to accommodate us. The afternoon tea was delicious and generous (lots of lovely rolls, scones, cakes and pastries, with an impressive selection of teas)
This is a lovely homely place to meet with friends and have a chat, with lovely coffee and excellent homemade cakes - just try the chocolate gateaux and you will want to come back regularly! A limited food menu but all to a high standard and home cooked.
First visit we wanted a little break on our journey. Very impressed, covid friendly,real leaf tea,all homemade food ,cakes pastries etc. Very clean and loads of other treats to buy to takeaway.
