A lovely chill cafe that u can have great egg dishes and coffee. We went to another Crafty Egg before and will enjoy our 3rd time in the future.
Moreover, the restaurant is spacious too~

The best place I have ever had had breakfast at. We went there around 10:30 on a Sunday. It was quite busy but the staff were quick with the service. They even came to us saying that our food is on the way, even though we didn’t ask. Food was outstanding, and the coffee was really tasty as well. They have good knowledge of their menu. Definitely going there again!

Everything was so delicious, amazing portions and really reasonably priced.
So refreshing in a world where you are over charged for small portions.

Very good breakfast with lots of vegan and veggie options. Coffee is very good quality and meat fry up was excellent. Very good all round but did have to queue for about 30 mins so maybe go at quieter times

Firstly, look how stunning my food was!!! And it tasted great too! I went here for brunch and ordered the potato hash with smoked salmon (you can also get it with chorizo or halloumi, tempting options) as well as a lavendar latte (which has no coffee in it, but is very tasty warm frothy milk).
It isn't your cheapest brunch but it's well worth it for the quality and portion sizes. My friend ordered a veggie crafty which was a brilliantly hearty plate of food.
I will definitely come here again because there was a lot of interesting options on the menu I'd like to try, for example the Afghan baked eggs (pittas, mint and spices 👀).

Our first visit to The Crafty Egg and it won't be our last! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The surroundings were quirky and homely. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pub went out of its way to accommodate children and babies. There was a great choice of beers. Plus they sold plants 🌿 What's not to love!
I love the crafty egg in city center so I had to prove this one. Well cooked and delicious English breakfast. I will be back to try another food.
Delicious food, really great blend of interesting flavours and good portion size. Venue is pretty hip with cosy nooks, lots of plants, interesting art and even a trunk full of games. Extra points for free sanitary products in toilets! Friendly and helpful staff. Super tasty smoothies too, worth the cost.
Brilliant atmosphere, mainly uni students or younger people which adds a nice ambience. Pizza man out back is sound, and they serve one of the best carrot cakes & chai lattes I’ve ever had. Smashing place, well glad it’s so local to me.
Eaten here twice over the past week, the food is excellent. Range of items on the menu with something for everybody. It has a really nice vibe, especially with so many plants. It is pay as you go, which I've not experienced before. Busy at the weekend, less so in the week. Lovely staff too.

Beautiful brunch, well crafted coffee , smoothies to die for - cherry on the top, staff are so friendly , happy in their jobs and excellent at customer service! We love coming here so much, we happily drive 116 miles from Portsmouth to do so!
Wow! What an amazing brunch this morning whilst visiting the area, glad I did some research and found this place… well worth it! Staff were super friendly and helpful, service was quick but not rushed and the food was just delicious! The Smoked Salmon & Potato Hash was next level brunching! Highly recommend The Crafty Egg to anyone and everyone! Oh and the coffee was great as well!

Turkish eggs were on point my favourite go to but never had it so perfectly eggs’ecuted.
And the salmon bagel was awesome.
The chef in today must of been a pro with presentation and flavour.
Service, some of the best servers work here they really go that extra mile and they are what completes the atmosphere for the main restaurant and seating area.
Well managed fast service no flaws.
Would really love to try the sourdough next time…
