Wood fired Neapolitan style pizza and Italian dishes served in a comfortable setting. We enjoyed some massive olives and a pint to begin. The arancini starter had plenty of sauce under, which was nice and tasty. The Frito misto was excellent. The prawns were particularly crisp and delicious. We also shared the fennel sausage, truffle béchamel and leek pizza - it was well worth the trip up to Bristol for. Such a nice change to a tomato base. We would definitely come again as the food was so nice, with plenty of other dishes that looked worth trying. Service and atmosphere were also nice for a Saturday lunchtime.

Had a lovely pizza and a few drinks here for midweek lunch. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived (12:15) but started to fill up as we left. The pizzas are good quality and tasty, the parmesan truffle fries were delicious and the staff and decor of the restaurant was very pleasant. They accepted cash which was great. Would definitely visit again

Good experience overall. Nice food and good service. The arancini is amazing, definitely recommend getting this if you’re going. The risotto is also very good. Unfortunately, like other reviews mention, the pizza I got for my main was very soggy. It was so wet that everytime I picked up a slice everything just fell off, I had to eat it with a knife and fork. If the pizza’s could be made where they aren’t so soggy in the middle then this place would get 5/5 stars. Still finished strong though with some lovely desserts. The chocolate mousse was delicious and the panna cotta was even nicer!

The staff at Flour & Ash are very friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and everything was delicious! We particularly liked the Arancini balls. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Best pizzas we’ve had in Bristol so far! The ox cheek pizza was special. But we the margherita was our favourite, it’s simple yet the best judge of how good a pizza place is.

Great food and drinks. Had a pizza and had some of the tapas style dishes really nice. Tiramisu is a highlight super tasty. 🔥

The best four cheese pizza I've had in a while (with a soft thin crust and cheese galore). Their menu doesn't have many options, which in my experience usually means ingredients are fresh and food is well prepared. Very kind service, tidy place, nice indoor and outdoor seating areas, and nice background music. I'd definitely recommend it.

Joe and the chef at Flour & Ash hosted an incredible dinner for me and my (now) fiancee. The team weren't just obliging, they were genuinely excited to help curate an experience for us - and went over-and-above by organising a special menu with all my partner's fav foods. Enthusiasm for incredible hospitality: 10/10 The culinary skills to match it: 10/10. Can't thank the team enough!

AMAZING visit to Flour and Ash. The food was fantastic, the lobster arancini and fresh pasta dishes especially. Service was great and the staff were super helpful and friendly with explaining the menu. They catered to every need we had! They were super busy but seemed to manage their timings well - very very happy with my experience here and probably the best pizza I’ve had in bristol (after living here for 2 1/2 years. Would 100% recommend.

The 4 course menu for £28 was amazing. The quality of the food was fantastic. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. We had alcoholic cocktails and mocktails and both were delicious. I love that it’s dog friendly. There aren’t many places you can go for a meal of this quality with your well behaved furry friend. Looking forward to the next special menu day. Thanks everyone!

We booked via first table which made it great value for money. Food was all absolutely delicious but stand out was the service. Our waitress (whose name I don't know) was attentive and lovely. Thank you!

The food is very good, the portions are a good size. A nice variety of pizzas, and they are happy to amend bits if requested. We had the fritto misto, fried courgette, two pizzas and two limocello spritzs. The 2-4-1 on drinks was a great option for a Sunday brunch. We only managed to have a little of the pizza after the starters/small plates, and the staff were happy to box the rest of it to take home, including the dips. It is a bit annoying that the 12,5% service charge is added to the bill automatically, as I think it should be optional for customer to tip as much or as little (or at all) as they think it's suitable. The atmosphere and staff were friendlier and more attentive in the previous location. They were a bit slow to greet us, and did not acknowledge us when we were leaving when we said thank you and goodbye.

Really good pizza 🍕 I had mortadella ham and it was delicious, quite filling. 😋 I would recommend if you like thin base and if you like to eat the crusts 😍 I usually don't eat them because they tend to be burnt, but not this one!! This one was just right 👌🏻 I also had truffle fries 🍟, very crispy, well seasoned, couldn't stop eating them. 🙈 The kale salad was very good as well, you could tell they used fresh ingredients. 🥗🤤 And we finished our lunch with tiramisu of course. This is the proper tiramisu not just cream and cake. I would go back just for the tiramisu 🤎🖤🤍

Flour & Ash really know how to do sourdough pizza well. We also tried some of the small plates - the lobster arancini and fritto misto were both delicious. Lovely interiors and great service too.
