The House Cafe - Bristol - Photo album

An old fashioned British cafe / diner. Good prices and decent service. There's no music or menus and the staff aren't overly friendly but the food is good. Somewhere where you'd go for a breakfast/ brunch but not for an occasion.
I was unsure whether to come here because of some of the reviews. However the food was really good. Got breakfast. Good prices and really friendly staff. Nice proper English breakfast.
Tried for the first time as was shopping nearby. Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Good social distancing measures are in place here. Cafe is clean and tidy and tables are well laid out. A good variety on the menu. Good selection of drinks. Will visit again.
First time I've eaten here in quite a while and I was pleasantly-surprised. I think the ownership may have changed; I had a lamb roast lunch and all the ingredients were fresh - I'm sure they weren't the last time I had the same meal. On this occasion, it was tasty, substantial and good value. I s
Top notch, excellent vegetarian (as well as full 'English') breakfast for £7 including a large filter coffee. Every item well cooked and quick and polite service. Sat here happily many times reading a book and thinking how good the food was. Recommended
Good traditional cafe. Food was good quality and good portion size. Although busy the service was quick. Would return
The food is a bit on the pricy side, but with good value.
Clean, friendly and a good choice on the menu. Haven't had a bad meal in there and they give you short measures like the trendy cafes. I must say the prices are very high now so I would not go to a cafe that puts a few beans in an egg cup!
Great greasy spoon cafe. Can't beat a fry up with coffee included for £6, or create your own. Staff are super friendly and we've always been able to get a table.
Over the years been a few times, and i can't complain. Gives me exactly what I want, a good solid breakfast, made in the traditional unhealthy way! They also provide a nice vegan option for my partner. If you like a fried breakfast, give this a try.
If you are looking for café that serves good traditional English cooked breakfast locally... This is a good one. It has got the old world charm ... They say around here "nice and proper like"
I visit my Mother on Fridays, coming into Bristol from Somerset. Always look forward to stopping for a Breakfast. Excellent Food, and good value for money Highly recommended
Nice breakfast, good prices, friendly service. Will be back soon.
Really tasty breakfast and the big one was BIG. I didn't need the extras on top, but managed to squeeze them in all the same. Free tea or coffee refill was a nice touch.
