It was my first time in o'neills. We went there with a friend as we saw their tapas and drinks for £3 offer. Food was delicious, drinks good (u could still feel buzz) and nice and fast service. They also have pool table. It's my new 'to go' place :)
I recently had a fantastic time enjoying drinks at O'Neill's, and I can't emphasize enough how much I loved the experience. The atmosphere was lively, the drinks were great, and the highlight of the evening was Kelly, who provided impeccable service. Her warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness were truly outstanding. Kelly made sure our glasses were never empty and offered recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. It's her exceptional service that made our night so enjoyable, and I can't wait to return for more drinks at O'Neill's, with the hope of having Kelly as our server once again. She's a gem, and I can't express enough how much I appreciate her contribution to a wonderful night out. 5 stars all the way!
Visited to watch some sport with a pint. Definitely the best Guinness in Bristol!
We didn’t have any food whilst there, but it looked really good when it passed our table
Great place and welcoming & friendly plus great atmosphere.
Kelly one of the managers a great asset to the establishment.
Always very helpful and knowledgeable and makes sure customers are always looked after being served at the bar.
She will also take the time matter how busy it is to stop and check on you.
Oniel's is lucky to have her.
They don’t make many better than Kelly (manager). Full of fun, very welcoming and definitely the life and soul. Great night had by all (large group of us) and whilst her staff were fantastic, she knew how to get the group to stay. This doesn’t feel like a chain restaurant, it feels like it belongs to her because that’s how she treats her work!! Highly recommend to ALL.
Much love,
Andy & Co xx
Visited on a Friday night, for a relaxed drink. There was live music on and the plane was busy.
Service was good.... drink selection was also good and pressures were fine for Bristol!
Really good atmosphere... would definitely visit again and would recommend!
Im giving O Neils Bristol four stars after my visit last night. We arrived at about 7 pm to meet other deaf people at 8 pm and wanted to have a few pre-drinks.
I did feel ordering drinks at the bar was very difficult and it wasn't dining in an orderly fashion but instead just who is the loudest that gets served. It was very packed and i did get frustrated that the shots girls were trying to sell shots to people instead of helping behind the bar.
The toilets were not great, someone had thrown up in one of the toilets and it wasn't cleaned for hours while we were there.
Apart from that we had a good time, we were there until midnight before calling it a night. The prices here were a little on the higher side but the Guinness was nice and cold. My partner got the Thatcher gold pint and we did like that when he asked for a Bristol Cider the lady behind the till took her time to offer her expertise and said that the closest matching one was Thatcher Gold. My partner said it was very close and he enjoyed it. It was a bit strange for him because sometimes it would be in a pint glass and sometimes it would ne in plastic without any explanation.
Apart from the dreaded queues when ordering drinks how many people were crammed into the bar and the state of the toilet it was a positive experience and we are glad we went and got to network with other deaf people.
Great night out watching England v Italy. Great choice of beers and food. Shout out to Kerry, who asked about my allergies without prompting. Great service from her!
Did not think this could get any better than it already is. If I could I would give it 10 stars. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Especially Charlotte and the manager Zoe is exceptional. Cara in the kitchen is a great chef. The fact that the pool table has now been recovered is a great addition to a great pub. Would highly recommend.
We had sharing tapas as starter and mixed grill for main. Excellent service and excellent food felt we had good value for money. We highly recommend having a drink and meal here.
Great pub in the heart of Bristol! Good selection of beers and £3 drinks between 5pm and 8pm Monday to Friday is just too good to miss out on!
We stopped here for drinks in the evening and the service was good although the place looked a little rough and ready. We didn't eat here but the food that I saw coming out looked good. It was quite busy but still no problem getting served. Would return if in the area.
It is what it is I guess. Nothing spectacular. Went in of a lunchtime and had a few glasses of wine before moving on elsewhere. Very good pricing for Central Bristol. It was dry, warm staff were welcoming
Staff were amazing! Big shout out to Kelly, Lisa and Tom for looking after us. The food was delicious, thanks to Steve the chef for the feast!
Came in to watch the liverpool game and ordered some food, which was delicious as always. Big shout out to Aaron for the extra big pot of BBQ sauce, big love xxx
I spent 2 or 3 hours at O'Neill's, and in that time I don't think I saw Lucy stop to take a breath. She was incredibly hard working and welcoming. She's doing a great job and should be recognized for it. I will be back.
Canadian here- fantastic place! The bartender Kelly was absolutely lovely and welcoming, I meant to stop in for a drink and stayed for several. I'll be happy to come back any time!
