Unreal brunch here - a must visit if you’re Gloucester Road way. I enjoyed the Classic Stack and I’ve never had anything quite like it! So delicious and filling. The staff are great, it just gets a little chilly when the door is left open. They have a garden out the back and seating at the front if you fancy eating outdoors. Great veggie options here too!
We love going here for a fry-up. They serve great smoothies and coffees too. Its never not busy and is also dog-friendly. Amazing space with a covered back garden that serves veggie, vegan and meaty breakfast
Staffs are very friendly and working fast pace. The food is fantastic especially classic stack with extra chorizo in the big portion🤤 It’s worth to spend the money in this place. I really recommend 👍🏼I’ll come back again for sure.
Excellent breakfast. More grilled than fried. Top quality sausages with a high pork % compared to a standard breakfast. Good staff. Front and garden outside seating. Dog friendly. Highly recommended. They even have cakes and smoothies.
Basically opposite the old Bristol North Baths, just a bit further down from Bakers and Co. The Nectar House offers a vibrant atmosphere and decor with great coffee and hearty food.
We went for brunch and we were not disappointed. The welcome was spot on, friendly and relaxed. We found a table near the back. We wanted to sit outside but you can't have it all, it was busy, a good sign.
We ordered a latte, cappuccino and flat white, which were all very good. For brunch we ordered 2 fry ups, one sourdough with extras and one beetroot carpaccio. Everyone enjoyed their meals and just relaxed. The food and coffee pricing were on par with other good cafes in the area and the quality was on point.
I would happily return again and so would any of my party.
Update: Had a cooked breakfast again. Decent breakfast and coffee, very polite/friendly member of the team. The food on display all looked really nice. Bit breezy with the front and back door open but I closed the back door, so no problem really. Good vibe in the cafe..
Visited for a Sunday morning brunch. Place was pretty popular and packed but managed to find a seat outside to watch life go by. This was clearly quite a cool spot, well decorated and had a nice ambience.
Ordered a fry up breakfast, as well as a coffee, and a cake. There was a wait for food, but not as long as the staff anticipated which was nice!
Fry up was good. As other reviewers mentioned it is a bit fancy, streaky bacon and apple sausage, but it is nevertheless still very nice. It was a bit dear for the portion, but this is Bristol so I could understand that. Coffee very good and the cake was good, but not stand out quality.
Overall, rather lovely and would definitely try again.
My friend suggested this place for a coffee and it was lovely. She had a latte and I had a hot chocolate which was so good. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. I had my little girl with me the staff was playing with her and even let us stay a little longer when they tidied up. Will definitely be back an amazing little cafe.
Fantastic spot for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious!! Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere. Super busy thorough (the sign of a great place), so be prepared to wait for a table - very much worth the wait though!
Very good, been a few times over the year. It's changed a bit but still good.
Pretty standard menu but done very well. Stuff like the 'breakfast stack' are new and nice. It had sautéed kale which was interesting
As well as all this the staff are incredibly nice and helpful with taking orders and what to order.
All in all, I don't think you'll go wrong eating here.
I visited with my children for breakfast. We sat in the little covered garden which we loved. The food tasted amazing. The staff were great and really friendly. The best bit was their gluten free menu. My daughter is coeliac and really struggles in other cafes to find good quality food. Not a problem here. The bread and menu could all be made gluten free. Great place with lovely staff.
Personally, I don’t think you can find many great coffee shops with great food in this part of Gloucester Road, but The Nectar House have been my rescue. I regret not coming there earlier, however, with how busy it normally is, I decided to give it a go when it’s a little quieter.
Super kind staff - from
the front house, the owner, to the chefs.
Great food, amazing coffee, not a long wait and, my favourite - the cute garden at the back!
I’ve now been returning every weekend possible.
Thanks so much for your hospitality :-)
Cosy and friendly, lovely patio outside and nice vegan options!
Had to leave a review - really lovely little cafe, very child and dog friendly. We brought our one year old and he loved it. Toys and books readily available for him to play with. Food and coffee is delicious and staff are very friendly. We will be back. Thank you!
Fantastic spot for brunch. The food was delicious!Friendly and welcoming staff. Super busy so be prepared to wait for a table!
