I went here on a few reviews I looked at ,I rang and booked a table just in case .we got seated and the menus looked good .I got the drinks 1 thatchers gold,1 cider zero (driving ) and a tea for my son ,I ordered the large carvery with pigs in blanket. my missus ordered the standard carvery and my son had the margarita pizza good service all round ...my only gripe was the food could have been a bit hotter but still worth a visit. there was plenty of seating and car parking

Basic pub food, decent enough to fill your belly. They do stop serving early around 7.30-8pm as I discovered when staying down the road.

Affordable good quality food and my daughter is a picky eater. Paige was amazing serving us at the bar! Interacted with the kids and they love her. Any problems we have had it’s been amazing communication by staff. Alison is super friendly and always willing to help. Family friendly pub and we enjoy coming here Thank you to the team

We come monthly and always leave a review. But we've recently starting coming for breakfast. Hot, fresh and tasty, with excellent fried bread. Perfect morning start

Really lovely place, found due to a regular route I take and wanted to convert the SO into liking Carveries. The atmosphere was lovely, we went on a Wednesday when it just opened and there was still a good number of people, background music was a nice level and staff were lovely. The meat for the carvery was cooked perfectly, the beef was particularly good. The sides were nice, my personal favourite was the cauliflower cheese, the sauce was almost creamy, very good. Overall we absolutely plan on going back.

First visit here, menu is great - caters for everyone! Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We went for a family meal so it was perfect for us; I gave 5 stars for atmosphere as it was not too noisy, we could all chat easily all evening. Some might like more noise I guess, but we loved it. Very reasonable too. We will definitely go again.

I come here for Sunday carvery regularly. Great value for money, meat more generous than most other places, plenty of vegetables, cauliflower cheese could be cheesier! The crackling is superb.

There is limited types of food on menu. Pizza, burgers and fish and chips but they make up for it in doing it well. The burger was pretty tasty and service was friendly and quick. I would recommend.

Love it, it's local so a tad biased. The staff are fantastic 👏. Carvery is lovely but not everything on the menu is consistent but hey ho I still like it🥳

Five stars based on value for money and friendliness of staff. We managed to feed five of us for around £27 (mains/carvery), then after that added on a £1.99 desert from a set list. This included bottomless ice cream which was great, I did mine with lemon sauce and lots of meringues
