We went to this Showcase Cinema during a short stay in Bristol. We took in some of the late night showings of The Bogeyman & Fast X, so it was very quiet with only a handful of people in our screenings. The screen was large with excellent picture and sound quality (if a bit too loud tbh). We found the seats a little uncomfortable and fixed (no recline function). The staff were friendly and helpful. Ticket prices a bit on the high side for what you can compare with other cinemas such as Vue or Odeon. We did enjoy looking in the Director's gallery.
I love this cinema. Seats are extremely comfortable and sound quality is excellent. Because I've got an Insider card, my tickets are cheaper I really enjoy watching all my movies here. Always my first choice. Easily accessible and good location regarding parking. Also serves food and drinks.
Wow had a great showing. Prices for food were good. Lovely directors lounge for a cinema trip.
Picture is of an advert before the film started.
Nice looking cinema with lots of choice of film and screen and comfy seats but marked down as £3.05 for a bottle of water seemed a lot even for a cinema!
Plenty of choice of films. Good price for senior citizens. Comfy seats. Dolby surround sound is far too loud and there are too many adverts, but I think this is the problem with most cinemas.
Luxury cinema with really good prices! Currently they are showing classic films and a few newer ones, so worth taking a trip to see one of the old greats on the big screen at a reasonable price.
Social distancing measures are in place and it is very straightforward with signage.
Cinema is very clean. Toilets and screens are well marked out.
Will definitely visit again soon to watch another classic film.
Cinema was nicely laid out and very clean and tidy, staff were very helpful, but the screen we went for did not have XLR seating, which was the only reason for not being a five star review. Would definitely go again.
We love to go here and visit the directors Hall on days/times that are never busy. Staff are always friendly/helpful and the rooms are always tidy before we view which is quite impressive for how often we go.
Unfortunately be generations are killing the cinema with thier phones and screens on full brighteness which really breaks the "4th wall" but this is not the cinemas fault.
I will continue to go here as it sounds good, seating is good, price is right and experience is spot on.
The cinema was very quiet with a total of only 3 people in our screening. The screen was very large with excellent picture and sound quality and staff were friendly. However, there were a couple of large marks in the bottom centre of the screen (screen 8), which we found quite distracting. There was also no soap in the loo, but plenty of hand sanitiser everywhere.
Recently saw the latest Mission Impossible film in the screen with XLR seating. Whilst you definitely had extra legroom and larger seats, my seat felt a bit tired. The seat back was quite floppy, so much so I felt like I was lying down watching the film. The upgrade does also make it a much more expensive experience too.
Directors lounge is where you want to be, but all of the screens are comfier than your regular cinema.
It's worth the trip!
