Couldn't disagree more with the last review.
Three of us had had a fabulous lunch yesterday. Shared the Wusar 2-3 people platter and we could not finish it as it was so generous. Tasty food well cooked in my opinion! Complimentary starter bread and dips were also very tasty and whilst one was spicy, it was very flavourful too.
Lovely wine with ample choice and a good selection of other drinks both alcohol and soft.
Card payments accepted on our visit and with regards to parking, it is on a very busy road so no, it's not easy but it is also on a bus route for several services so easily accessible.
Would recommend and will also return myself.
Fantastic restaurant. Quiet Saturday evening, so it was nice n quiet. Lots of space. Nice ambience. Great food, great service. Great portions. We shared a main with a side! Will be back! 5*
Incredibly delicious food and nice atmosphere. We came here to celebrate my nieces birthday and were not disappointed. The food was fresh and the customer service was excellent. Both of our waiters were really polite and served us with a smile! 😁

Most the waiter their are professional but seriously not smiling. Although, the only waitress in the staff was really professional, so cordial smiled, picked me up, friendly

Very impressed, Food was spot on, service was alright ( no check back but you do get a smile, timing between starter and main was good, my starter was the prawns in a rich creamy tomato sauce and boy did it hit the spot, followed by the mixed lamb and chicken skewers with yogurt :- well worth every penny, portion size was good and every bite just got better and better, the rice that was served with was perfectly cooked, the ambience and atmosphere just right perfect for a family meal, very comfy seating and nice decor, just need to brush up on the customer service.
Comfy chairs, hardwood tables, élégant décor and friendly staff. Turkish coffee and raki just right.
Superb food, excellent service and great value. Kids meals were fantastic and we all ended up with plenty of food to take home. Turkish wines were lovely and felt like we were on holiday for the whole meal. New neighbourhood favourite :)
If I were to make a comparison between the Wusar restaurant and the Lona restaurant, I would prefer Lona. It is my personal opinion and I explain why: At the level of cleanliness in Wusar I would give 8 points out of 10 and Lona 7 points out of 10. The price for the same menu at Lona is 50 percent cheaper and the level of cooking is better and tastier . One difference would be the fact that if you go with friends and want to serve a beer or other alcoholic drinks you can only do it at Wusar because Lona does not serve alcoholic drinks. I recently made this visit with my children and I kept their opinion in this way. I emphasize it is my personal opinion. Success for the Wusar restaurant in the future in serving customers and improving the quality of the rating. Thank you.
Really good atmosphere, great food and friendly team working, visited on 24th and 25th May for wedding dinner. Looking for the same in Southampton. Thank you for making my visit to Bristol really good looking forward to visiting again.
Fancied something different for date night so jumped on Google Maps and Turkish caught our eye. Wow so glad we gave this place a go. Excellent staff and stunning food. This is now on our top 5 list of favourite restaurants so we'll be back at least once a month.

This restaurant is lovely. The waiters and manager were really friendly and welcoming. My husband and I ordered a platter for 2 which was really tasty. Complimentary fresh bread, salad and sauces were given before any of the food was served which was delicious. After the food, complimentary Turkish tea was served. My overall experience was a 5/5 and would definitely come again.
Food here was really nice, meats were very tasty and tender. And I personally feel the portions sizes were generous. In the photo we have ordered the chicken la cream & the lamb shish with yoghurt.
The only negative is that I felt we wait quite long for our food and had to call over a waiter about the wait, but the restaurant was busy so I understand this might have had a part to play.
Even though I had to wait longer than I'd expect I would still visit again.
Me and three friends had the Wusar sharing plate special. It was all absolutely delicious, we all are big eaters but didn't leave hungry. Staff were warm and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
