Stag And Hounds Public House - Bristol - Photo album

An amazing pub whether you are looking for sport, music, a chilled beer or two... or trying the best burgers in Bristol (maybe the UK). As a regional organiser for an NFL fan group, I was looking for a venue to get people together - the stag and hound were helpful from the moment we contacted them.
The place is good, the food is great, the service is good, I recommend the cheeseburger
Quality pub, spacious inside. Show sport and have live music. Staff are friendly and welcoming, there is a decent choice of ciders and lagers on tap. Prices are reasonable. Burgers are nice and tasty, had a Mi-so-hungry burger and it was delicious. Also has an outside seating area. Is easy to get to
Absolutely lovely staff and atmosphere The chef cooked us a burger that wasn't on the menu yet and we were thrilled Definitely suggest the oklahoma burger once its there They also made mine with vegan cheese as I'm lactose intolerant Ps. Dog friendly pub
Probably the strongest spiced rum we've ever tried! Nice selection if drinks. Loads of history in this pub. Nice old fashioned feel. Love the old pump that was used to pump water from an old well at the back. Interesting.
Absolutely amazing place. If you enjoy taking about Michelin starred restaurants, then maybe this isn't for you. But for myself, I like lovely food and a bit of realism and real life. Alex... Stock bumbu 😋
10/10, a great place that is dog friendly, has fantastic live music on Sunday eve(s?), delicious food and very friendly staff, BUT also has baaaaadly designed ladies' toilets. Guys, seriously, make the doors open outside, not inside, pregnant women or just not slim can't even enter, I'm not joking.
Great atmosphere, lots of room and not busy/too loud. We had a beer from the tap that wasn't as cold as we'd have liked but otherwise had a great visit.
Great burgers and chips, band was really good love the welcoming atmosphere and the old photos- took my mum who was born and lived here up until 70yrs ago! Lots of old photos around pub she loved.
Excellent atmosphere and decor. A great range of drinks. Burgers available from Fattso inside the pub. We recommend and would go here again.
After 2 days traveling in Bristol on our way back to train station we just saw an not visible pub and de side to eat something and Surprize: so authentic pub with nice interior lovely stuff tasty bear and delicious food. It was the top and best surprise before we left. It is a real museum - see all
What?! I honestly thought this was a chain pub and specialises in looking after waifs and strays . But and this is a big but...what a super pleasant surprise... Old building, with old creaky stairs, but hell, they offer the best burgers in town..
Sunday night Jazz jammin' Session. Brilliant artist's in a cool old English pub.
We had a couple of drinks here over two days. We also had a burger and chips one night, which was amazing.
Best burger I have had in years. Took over an hour from time of ordering and there were only about 15 people in the whole place but well worth the wait.
Great atmosphere, food was a ridiculous waiting time but tasted amazing on arrival
Nice pub, good beers from Bristol Beer Factory.
Friendly staff and a great atmosphere, nice and chill in the day and more lively in the night with weekend events. They also have food now served by Stone and Dough, pizza, sides, and bits. Monday - Thursday 4pm - 10pm Friday - Sunday 12pm - 10pm
