Super friendly service today, staff had brilliant music taste đ great pizza choices (wouldn't say no to a bit more cheese on top though!) and meal deals. The lemon dessert was delicious, would recommend. Ate here once before a while ago and was pleased we had an equally good experience.
Always had delicious pizzas at this place. Surprised at how tasty the dough is, and I like the simple menu too with really thoughtful flavours.
However, IMPOSSIBLE to contact them via mobile (tried on several occasions, just goes to voicemail), so there is no customer service whatsoever if youâre ordering pizza for delivery. Be warned that if you need to mention any allergies or speak to a human, you wonât be able to!
Pizzas are actually quite nice, however many times they are short of some menu items, so a bit disappointing. Good for a quick bite and take away, not a destination restaurant (is in the middle of a carpark).
I was very impressed with the staff. They were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious.

Not a usual location for a traditional pizza place, but it made the experience better, staff were lovely and pizzas tasted even better, an absolute find!
I orders a goats cheese pizza from here and it was delicious, the dough was incredibly light and soft with a perfect amount of each topping. I'll definitely be going back to try another pizza soon.

The avonmeads team are great! We ordered pizzas through deliveroo and when they turned up an hour later the pizzas were ruined due to the driver putting the boxes in sideways. Neither the driver or deliveroo really seamed to care, but we called up the store to find out our options and both will and carly were so helpful. Finally sorted a refund through deliveroo and went to avonmeads ourselves to place an order, the team were very apologetic and the food was really quick and delicious as always! We order their pizzas all the time because they're so good, and our service direct from the location is always excellent. Highly recommend!
Out today with my son and popped in 1899 pizza , meet a lovely young man called joules who made us the best pizzaâs ever. What a fantastic place, really clean, joules who was very friendly and professional member of staff. The pizza was so tasty, can tell everything was super fresh and cooked to perfection. They are lovely 12inch pizzaâs , excellent value and very filling. Will recommend this place to everyone the very best pizza and lovely staff.
The pizzas are too thin for takeaway. They rarely survive the journey, because they're so delicate. You should tweak your recipe for takeaways, so they're more robust đ The dough is so thin, that the pizza slides around in the box, during delivery, and crumples.
Why aren't there more of these?!
The team of three (one of whom was the son of the owners) couldn't have been better, professional, polite, and pro at making Pizza.
I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere and it was a mild evening, so I sat outdoors, there was a steady stream of couriers picking up phone orders but if you want the absolute best, as fresh as it can be served, I highly reccomend you come and give these guys a visit! It doesn't even matter that it's a shopping centre car park, the food is that good it took me some place else for a moment!
Will definitely be going back.
