Their large fish is longer than most of the chip shops I've been too and always a good large portion of chips. Nice friendly staff. My regular chip shop now.
Food nice but service is a little slow
Under new ownership, very friendly and food is excellent. Also they have done away with the minimum spend on card, meaning if you just want a bag of chips you don't have to spend over a fiver. I do recommend the battered cod, absolutely beautiful.
i had such a fantastic day at this place i will highly recommend this place and it’s staff especially the black curly hair who did my dinner he was very nice to me and kind thank you so much caspian fish bar for this experience
Fish +chips are lovely. Can't get a fresh clarkes pie out of this place it's always been warmed up a few times and always dried up

Excellent Service by the young lady I have to commend them in this hot weather as it was absolutely stiffling inside so hot but was still working and happy and cheerfull. Please can the manager put some sort of extra fans or A/c in for them.

Chips with TASTE! Nice type of potato, firm not like 'boiled mushy tasteless potatoes' most fish & chips shops seem to use these days. The fish is also nice tasting only let down by a soogy batter, seems it wasn't cooked long enough. Nice people & will add this shop to my 'Hit List' when next in the area!
Really great chips and the young lad really knew what loads of vinegar meant.
