We booked for a carvery and arrived a little early, we were showed to our table by lovely staff. We had time for a drink before the carvery began for the day. Then when open We queued, the meat server was also lovely, friendly and welcoming, gave us lovely amount of meat, and everything was beautifully fresh, there was lots of choices available all steaming hot and smelt divine. Our meals were absolutely gorgeous, as always! We will definitely be returning as often as possible. The prices were amazing as its cheaper in the week anyway but then found out you could download the app and get 50% off mains which was brilliant! Thank you Toby Carvery, see you soon 😊

I took my mother for a meal here, we booked beforehand, yes it was very nice, lovely meats, we had the beef & gammon, also we had ice cream with a flake & strawberry juice over it. 4 cups of cappuccino between us. Yes, it was pretty good. Waiting staff were excellent πŸ‘Œ Only my elderly mother found the knife a little blunt and had difficulty cutting the meat up. But overall, it's pretty decent there and I would eat there again. Fair prices, too! Cheers 🍻 Mr. Walsh.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. A nice welcome, a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere all of the staff did an excellent job, particularly our lovely server Natalia. The carvery was all very delicious and a great choice as always. I must say though that the ambience and general atmosphere has greatly improved, making it a much more pleasant experience now, to what it was a few years back.

Was in the area and decided to go for some food in late afternoon here. Was pretty quiet so didn't need to book. When we went to go and get our meal we had to wait for the chef to come out to serve us. Then when he did, he didn't look too happy about serving customers,this seems to be a common thing at most toby carvery. Overall it was ok, table staff were good. Just need the chef to smile a bit more.

Visited on a Monday evening and it was quite busy, but our server Logan got us seated quickly and nothing was too much trouble, she even fetched us ice from the bar as the ice machine was not working, the meat was excellent and a delicious array of vegetables too, Logan was very professional and polite a real pleasure.

Very crowded we were too close to the table next to us. The table was unstable and kept slopping the drinks. The carver had no interest in his job or the customer even when they ran out of beef he gave us no information about if it would be back etc and to finish the ice-cream machine was broken.

Quality of roast meat, all excellent. Memorable Yorkshire puddings. Overall quality of vegetables, mixed - rather cool temperature for some and area quite messy. The parsnips I chose were inedible (very hard and cold). Perhaps a member of staff should keep a closer eye on portions remaining, top-ups required etc. Otherwise service was really good, from welcome (logging of car Reg. etc.) courteous, friendly and efficient. Very busy restaurant and fairly tidy given the demand for tables etc. We took two friends to say thank you for their hospitality and they enjoyed the change of scene and the thought of no washing up!! We've been before and thought your OAP Carvery offer amazing value.

The chef who cuts the meat also brings joy every time. Be polite and friendly. The young male waiters were extremely polite.

We are visiting from Australia Adelaide, the meats were cooked to perfection, plus what an outstanding gravey. The staff were very hospitality could do with one of these eateries in Adelaide.

The food and service was as good as always, however we were shocked at the final bill which has increased considerably since our last visit, not long ago. This is defiantly make us think twice about booking again anytime soon.
