This has become one of my favourite places in Bristol. We ordered the mapo tofu, green beans and beef chongqing noodles, all the dishes were amazing, spicy and flavourful. The staff is very kind and helpful as well. The atmosphere is very chill. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good, authentic, delicious food! Service was okay, helpful staff but can get quite curt (may be cultural). Bright, spacious, minimalist decor, great atmosphere. They charge 10% for payment card, go figure!

+ Big portion (can’t finish 👍) + price is reasonable = taste is ok(not bad or not so surprising. Other dishes that someone else was having looks so good too) - I don't like the foam cup for drinking water. - cash only £35 for this meal. Price is ok. Dishes are big enough for 4 people

Quick and friendly service (food was quick to come too). Large portions - we ordered 3 mains between 3 and probably ate 1/2 of each. The duck and fried rice was all our faves! It was all on the slightly oily side… which with the carbs made us a bit tired for the start of a night out. It’s cash only… but as we were hungry so they let us order then go get cash as they cooked.

Really good szechuan deliciousness in a simple canteen type setting. Their spicy beef noodle soup was.the best in bristol I reckon. My partner had the duck fried noodles which were also yummy. Will defo come again. Many things to try x

The chongqing chicken (laziji) was amazing! Big pieces! Big portions! Packed with flavour and moisture. I can’t get over it. It’s days later and I’m still thinking about it. This is gonna be the highlight of my bristol trip forever. The string beans (sijidou) had the perfect soft and crunchy texture that you want from them! Everyone else there was getting individual noodle bowls so that might be the go if you’re looking for a smaller portion. AHHHHHHH!!!! AHHHSIWBFHHCHCNDUEHEBDH

A solid restaurant serving Chinese cuisine in a flash. Good customisation options from choosing the type of noodle to your spice preference. My crispy duck noodle soup landed questionably quick after ordering. Despite this, it was a delicious broth and the duck was cooked just right. It's about £10 a dish which is reasonable for what you get. No need to book in advance. Service was neither exceptional nor poor. Be aware of allergies since they do have peanuts in their dishes.

I had the Crispy duck sweet potato noodles and I was pretty good. The duck was very tasty and definitely a highlight. Would have it again and try it with rice or a different noodle. You’re also able to choose your spice level. I’d recommend a 2 if u want just that tint of spice that doesn’t burn your tongue. Prices are also reasonable and the service was very fast- we got our food within minutes of ordering. It was my first time visiting so I’m not sure if they were having an off day but they got our order wrong twice. The first time they brought us two of the same dish even though we ordered one and the second we ordered meat dumpling but they brought us vegetable dumpling. But it wasn’t a big deal. I’d 100% visit again

Love this place. Totally delicious, extremely filling, no frills, and great value. I've never been to China but the reviews tell me that the food is authentic and Chinese people eat there which is a good sign. I always have the stewed beef wheat noodles 🍜 (heat strength 3, goes up to 5) and the fried meat dumplings which are both consistently great. Today we added the stir fried pork with garlic bolt - it tasted very green and very savoury and unlike anything I've ever tasted before 😋. I told the waiter I'd be coming in for the pork every day 😄. I won't of course but I'll definitely have it next time.

The food was really good value and delicious. It isn't like your usual Chinese takeaway; it seems popular with the Chinese students so I'm guessing it is pretty authentic!

Please note you can't book a table here as the website does not relate to this business. All that aside had a great time. Key for me was tasty food at a great price. Will definitely be back. ✌🏾

Checked out this restaurant on a whim because it was a chilly and cloudy day that a good, piping hot, soupy noodle dish could easily counter. It was one of the best choices my hubby and I ever made that day. I ordered the Chongqing Xiaomian with Crispy Duck with level 3 spiciness (a little over medium spice levels) and I was immediately in noodle heaven. Soupy, spicy, so flavorful, the dish came in a huge bowl (I think 2-3 people could easily share it) topped with tasty peanuts, sesame seeds, and evil-looking crushed chilis. Delicious and super filling. It tasted great too with a few dashes of black vinegar. Highly recommended!

I came here a lot while I was staying in Bristol a few years ago. Best Sichuan kitchen in this city with many choices.

Food was excellent and great value but the waitress provided the necessary service but wasn't very enthusiastic and not very responsive. The menu had a lot of variety and different customization options for spice (for those who have poor spice tolerance!). The dishes I got were great too, although the beef was a bit tough and could have done with slightly longer cooking
