Absolutely amazing little gem. The food was was so good that you'd be forgiven to think you'd stepped into an actual "Izakaya", a typical Japanese "tapas bar". The service was outstanding; quick, efficient, very friendly and welcoming. The food was brought out promptly but not overwhelmingly, although our eagerness to eat it might have contributed to that. If you're looking for an authentic Asian night out, look no further.

Place is small but the staff are extremely friendly. Food arrived quickly and tasted amazing, best sushi we've had and the octopus was fantastic. The drinks were nice but the homemade mint lemonade is out of this world. Highly recommend going here if your in Bristol.

A top-notch Japanese restaurant in Bristol! Delightful and fresh ingredients make the dishes exceptionally delicious. Be sure to book ahead, as they're always fully booked.

Was seated promptly without have to book in advance. Really straight forward ordering by marking on the menu, and writing your drinks on the back. The food was fresh and delicious. The soft shell crab was out of this world by being yet delicate, and the meat ever so soft! The squid in panko was good, the spring rolls vanished before we even thought to take a picture. 2 of us ate and it was just over £42 which saw us have Okonomyaki, Soft shell crab tempura, Harumaki spring rolls, Squid Karaage, and 2 ice cold delicious mint lemonades. For the cuisine and dishes, I was very impressed with the price. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy trying new things!

An excellent selection of food that has been lovingly prepared. Always a staple for my visits to Bristol. Be warned that it can be cramped so isn't suitable for large parties unless you're booking well in advance.

This was our first time coming here whilst visiting Bristol, we are biggg sushi lovers and always opt for sushi whenever we can!! We enjoyed our meal and the staff there were so attentive and friendly. We had the gyudon beef bowl and the katsu chicken with rice, which we thought were both amazing! We had some salmon nigiri to share and some deluxe calafornia roll to share also, although we were a little disappointed at the California role as we felt they were simple - crab stick, avocado and cucumber with very little tobiko - for us it wasn’t “deluxe” for £12.50. We thought that the bill was quite high (£60+) for the 4 dishes we had. But overall it was a nice date night treat, even if neither of us left full which we hoped we would for the price🤍

This place is such a great find! I happen to pass by and i was so happy with the food that i am definitely coming back again soon. I ordered the Chicken Kaarage, it was so crispy and the lemon and the sauce along with the shredded cabbage just made it 10/10 I also ordered the Chicken Yakitori, which comes in three skewers, although it was small it was delicious I absolutely enjoyed them. And lastly i ordered the Ebi Avo Uramaki which was recommended to me and it was as good as they say I cant wait to come back and try their other dishes now

We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and were able to get a table outside. We had rice, takoyaki, chicken karaage, salmon sashimi, and mochi ice cream. The food was all absolutely delicious, especially the sashimi and strawberry cheesecake mochi, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again!
