I quite like the place becasue of ancient kind of theme and nice sitting arrangement for different kind of crowd. They offer Drink, Food and als have a garden outside. A good place for vegan or vegetarian as well. Ambiance looks fresh becasue of fresh flowers they place on tables. They also have som
Great staff, good garden, nice food. Pizza are light and tasty, and the salads hearty, served with thin garlic pizza slices. The garden gets a sliver of sun in the back corner, and it’s a decent spot for a relaxed drink. Gets busy late into the night.
Well Friday night was a surprise... very cheesy music which I wasn't expecting! Pleasantly surprised. Nice drink choices and good venue. Love the beer garden, it'll be really good in the summer!
The best chicken burger my mates ever had and he's had a few. My pizza was the Posh sausage AMAZING washed down with local Bristol beer
Really love the pizzas here, always the spicy chicken one for me! well priced. Upstairs has a good cosy feel and good for catching up with friends and family. Decent beer on tap, not too expensive
One if my favourite bars to go to for a dance. Very similar to Mr wolfs but the smoking area I'd a lot better and airy
The staff were brilliant, really friendly, and handling the new Covid situation really well. The cauliflower burger was superb. The outside seating area is great. We moved inside to eat our food - really cosy. A great night
Very nice bar and pizzeria in the heart of Stokes Croft. If it looks quiet, head upstairs and there's the restaurant area with loads of seats. Looks great inside and the oven-fired pizza is very tasty and reasonably priced. Note the upstairs bar is quite small so limited taps.
Can't comment on the bar downstairs but I enjoyed the restaurant upstairs. Very, very nice pizza. Good choices of toppings, too. I have been twice and everyone in our party rated it highly both times. It can be a bit loud in there and it's not a fancy place by any means, but then why would it be in
Fantastic pizzas with a good choice of vegetarian options freshly made and generally a fast service on a weekday evening. Also a wide selection of Pukka teas, plus standard selection barista of coffees which is great if you don't want to drink alcohol.
Upstairs area has a very lounge-y atmosphere with character and downstairs is more set up for dance and music. Food is very nice and reasonably priced (recommend the sweet potato chips). Drinks are a bit expensive but worth it for this really nice bar.
Omg the fooood!! It's to die for, the menu is amazingly good with so much on offer and the prices are shocking but in a good way the quality of the food is top notch so you expect to pay through the nose but when it comes time to pay you have to check twice as surely the meal wasn't this cheap? The
Awesome service. Props to Dylan for always going above and beyond, the staff are why we come here every weekend, so much love x
Decent enough bar that puts on DJ's and occasional live music. Larger outside seating / smoking area than most places. Can get heaving on a Friday or Saturday night (especially as floorspace is limited) so its sometimes difficult to dance or get a drink.
A bit quiet but I was in after work on a Tuesday so wasn't expecting a party. Staff were friendly and helpful, the Cornish IPA on keg was great, the food was superb (Cajun Chicken salad) and the music was 70s Soul. Can't fault it!
