Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic Saturday evening dinner sat at the bar watching each of our dishes being expertly prepared on the charcoal grill. Confident kitchen staff provided us with fantastic food (especially the octopus 🐙) and the cocktails were wonderfully balanced - especially the sour plum sake G&T. We ordered 7 dishes total at a cost of £39.50 and left feeling VERY full. Will definitely be going back for the ramen as we only skewers

Amazing food and great service! Definitely recommended. Brisket was nicely charred. Kamo dango (duck skewer) was very tender and perfect with plum ketchup. Ramen dishes were very good. Must visit if you love ramen and charred grilled!!

Super meal at Woky Ko back in Febuary. Delicious food, great service. Highly recommend but remember to book as it's only little inside and (rightly) very popular. Love being so close to the open kitchen always something to look at!

We popped in for a small dinner on my last visit to Bristol. Sampled all the Bao buns and my only wish was that I could have eaten more, but we had a train to catch! I’ll definitely come back when I’m next in wapping wharf. Cocktails were yum too!

SO good!!! The cauliflower Katsu curry was unreal! The ramen was delicious too, not a ramen fan but it was decent. Tasted as good as it like in the photo.

Best ramen I've ever tried! We had chicken( my number 1) and mushroom ramen. Good service, not many tables inside, and music quite loud. But we definitely come back again! P.S.: try edamame beans- they are perfect!

There was a limited menu running when we visited but the staff emailed beforehand as we had a booking so this was no problem. We both had ramen which was really tasty. Overall I had a great experience but I think the price would prevent me from coming back here other than on special occasions. Just a little too expensive for a casual meal. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

Managed to make ramen interesting and different, and the small plates are absolutely fantastic - especially the fish ones (e.g. sea bass tartare). It's easily as good as anything in London, which is saying something, but it's more intimate and friendly! Excellent service. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

The best service I have ever had in a restaurant. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice meal and they were so accommodating with my allergies. They even gave us some Prosecco for my friends birthday 🥳 The food was really delicious and high quality too! I highly recommend this place!

Noodle was nice. The noodle soup can be better. The pork was really nice too.

A worthwhile place for Bao-themed cuisine. The Crispy Korean fried chicken was cooked to exquisite perfection, while the Bao buns in a basket possessed such high presentation that I nearly didn't eat them! I would recommend however asking for the garlic mayonnaise to be on the side, as it can drown out some of the flavours and be a bit sickly if consumed in great quantities. The service was excellent. I was particularly impressed with how they showed gracious and attentive care to my friend's gluten-free/lactose-intolerant needs. I will be making a comeback in the future and would also recommend this delightful place to others.

Wow, what a find! Absolutely delicious! Very lovely staff. The Sakura Spritz was one of the simplest and nicest cocktails I'vw had in a long time. The barman was kind enough to tell me the secret ingredient. Still thinking about the food there 2 days later! 👌

Very tasty bao buns and sides. Nice beer. Novel setup - upstairs in a container. Efficient service Ordering and payment is exclusively via mobile phone (even tipping at the same time as the order)- good for brief lunch breaks, however my preference is to order and pay via a human.

A pleasant environment to eat it, the ramen I had was delicious, which was the vegetarian one they had on the menu at the time, as well as these duck meatballs in a liquorice sauce. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and got us everything we would need for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this place if saving money isn’t your agenda, otherwise it can seem a little bit expensive.

This was a surprise to us because we literally just stumbled upon it on our first night but this was one of the best meals we had in Bristol. Fantastic food. Great service. So friendly. Cool location and they handled all the COVID stuff really well. We loved it and had we stayed longer would have returned. Next time, we hope, and until then you should 100% go! We recommend the pork belly bao (get two of these rather than the beef) and the fries!
