Fantastic arts centre and Café. The team are really lovely and the kitchen always makes brilliant food. Best flat white I've had in a while

Hidden away but worth a visit for a chilled cafe bar with excellent food. Check Wriggle app for offers! They're closing for a couple of weeks for a refurb so check in advance of you're planning to visit.

Have previously attended a make your own silver ring course here in previous years. Walk past early as looking for a bite to eat at lunch time and remembered their cafe. So pleased I did, fabulous fabulous soup with amazing flavours served with scrumptious bread. It provides a welcome calm haven to the busy Hospital and park street, lovely and enviting atmosphere with friendly staff. The filter coffee could have been a little warmer, but I should have said at the time. Definitely shall be my go to timeout place on future trips into Bristol city centre area.

Such a relief to find this space - the friendly laid back welcome, the excellent food and arty ambience were all appreciated but the home baked bread was the BEST

Recently had our wedding meal in the Folk House Cafe, and reception in the hall attached. The food and staff were amazing, Liz (the owner/manager) got really involved in helping us plan out the day beforehand, and the whole event went smoothly and was as relaxed as we had hoped. All guests were impressed, and the price was really competitive, cannot recommend highly enough.

The perfect place to take vegans, coeliacs etc So many amazing healthy, nutritious options form a lovely group of staff. Took the family on a trip to Bristol and we had a lovely selection for lunch. All home cooked (of course) and they were massively helpful with my father's dietary requirement. Tucked just off Park st, you'd never know you were right in Bristol city centre. The garden is so calm and matched perfectly by the relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was tasty and crucially- hot!! Don't try and resist the cakes. Just succumb! you will be rewarded!

Very good food. A bit pricey for the many people on low incomes who frequent The Folk House. I accept that it is a not-for-profit place that needs to generate income but suspect that lower prices would result in significantly increased volumes and higher overall profit. As it is, many customers limit themselves to hot drinks.
