A local pub with sports on the tv, a wide range of beer and decent pub food. The pizzas are excellent value to eat in or take away. A yard with picnic tables on one side and a garden on the other. A large conservatory if you fancy it
Nice local boozer although it is like stepping back in time. Has some decent ales, service is always good and the food (pizzas) are always tasty 😋.
Good outside space, good real ale choice, the pub has a good vibe, just a little tired in decor. Shows the football regularly and the pizzas are good!
Top notch. Great place for food and drink especially at lunchtimes when the cricket is at Nevil Road. Excellent selection of real ales at good prices. Still the same. Excellent selections as usual. Lots of different sports to watch while your there.
Excellent range/quality of beer and bar food also.
The building is quite literally and annex to The Sportsman pub.
Great spot to chill watch some sport drink some beer with friendly locals and staff what's not to like? Pizzas look mighty good will try one next time 🤔

Great pizza options, suitable for all. Normal, sourdough and gluten free, with over 30 toppings. Plenty of space any good service. Good selection of beers too. Visited there 15 Sept 2021.
Great pub, with a very decent ale range and CAMRA discount. Very handy for games at Rovers

Have been a few times now for Sunday lunch and all I can say is WOW 😀 What a bargain for less than a tenner. Beautiful flavour meat, great roast potatoes and loads of veg. Liked it so much that I booked for my birthday with a big group of friends and family - everyone loved it. Its not a fancy pub at all, but does have a good selection of drinks, with a relaxed atmosphere and very good service. Would highly recommend
Very good value food and pizzas. Usually have 4 or 5 cask beers plus usual lagers and ciders, including Thatchers Dry cider. Good place for watching footy.
Lovely atmosphere fantastic food. An absolute gem of a find. Pizzas are smashing and jacket potato cooked to perfection fast and friendly service. Will visit again no problem recommending even if 1 out of 3 pizzas went awol lol
Great pizzas, they now even do Sourdough. They often have daily deals on pizza.
Great atmosphere but can get really busy especially during sport events so always try to get there early if you plan on getting a table.
Great place to meet up prior to a cricket event. Great selection of beer and very friendly staff.. great pizzas as well...

Very warm welcome. Just about to close 3pm - 5pm(Sportsman next door remaining open though). But cracking pint. 6 real ales and they put the Ashes on for me on outside screen. Food from sportsman smelt lush and was very reasonable. Top notch all around.
The annexe is a smaller 'old man' style pub. Good selection of ales and a reasonable price. They serve really good pizzas that allow you to pick 4 toppings, different offers on different days, Tuesday is 2 for £10.
