Lovely family business that's been running for 57 years. Authentic vintage sitting area, the owner/head chef was a lovely man that looked after our order. It was freshly caught fish and made by order. Definitely to go to if you are looking for the best fish and chips at Bristol šš¼š
I love fish and chips, and it is something I will try first wherever I go. Iām very happy that this place is in Bristol, where I live. I think this is the best chippy on this country, out of hundreds Iāve tried.
The owners and waitress are very friendly, I hear from my friends for the same as well. The price isnāt bad, and fish is never soggy here.
One note I wish to leave, is that they donāt open on Sundays and Mondays. This place is just so good that I would wish it to open everyday.
I donāt leave that much rating, but for this chippy I will need to give five, or if possible six. I genuinely wish the owners and all the workers there to have prosperous business. The world need to know more about this fantastic place.

Doesnāt look like much from the outside on a very small side street behind the Hippodrome, but we have found the fish and chips tasty and of good size. There is a back room seating area that you canāt see from the street where the walls are cover with posters that have been staged at the Hippodrome. Coffee was good too. Pleasant and friendly staff.
Went here before we caught a show at the Hippodrome. Lovely Fish & Chips. The service was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Donāt normally place reviews, but I just had to for this fish and chips bar. The staff were very helpful and the fish and chips were out of this world. I would definitely be back soon and I would definitely highly recommend this little fish and chips bar if your looks for a good chippy.
A lovely friend place to eat. Food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can eat there or take it away . Recommend you going there .
The meat served is great. Chips are good too. They have 4 sauces to choose from. Affordable for students.

I loved coming here with my clients. I work as a support worker and we were able to order tasty comfort food for our adventure to the aquarium. It's not really accessible for wheelchairs however my clients are able to walk so it wasn't an issue for us. They even had seating to eat in so we weren't rushing and eating on the go. Especially great when it was a bit chilly outside.
Lovely Fish & Chips, friendly staff and lovely to see all the posters and photos of stars decorating the walls, some who sadly are no longer with us. All food is freshly cooked.

Maybe the restaurant doesn't look much outside and inside as for me but the most important is the food was really fresh and good quality and staff was ok. I can recommend this place.
