The Hatchet Inn - Bristol - Photo album

Bristol's oldest pub tucked away from the busy streets. Beautiful exterior and cosy inviting interior with little booths and separated rooms. One room has a TV in and upstairs is a Pool table room. Friendly staff and was surprisingly quiet when we went in. We were able to choose a booth seat and qu
Great food and Wonderful Service! I had a brie and bacon burger that was roughly the size of my head! Seriously, I had to eat it with a knife and fork! It came with the most delicious skin on, proper chips and a lovely side salad too. Everything was cooked to perfection and the Manager, Gino was a g
We drank a few pints and ate some delicious nachos on the outdoor terrace, super friendly staff and a very good atmosphere
Any pub that (purportedly) has human skin incorporated in the door is gonna be a little bit metal. Good selection of well kept beers. This is one of the oldest pubs in Bristol. They do a half way decent Sunday roast and a great beer garden. Location is excellent as its right outside the 02. Head up
The oldest pub in Bristol, so quaint, lots of private areas, unbelievable selection of beers, very clean, friendly staff and lots and lots of football on the TV's. Food menu looks delicious..seems to be a stop off on the way to Ashton gate too. Very close to Trenchard Street and park Street. Defini
Great pub - really welcoming and efficient staff, good exterior and plenty of screens for the sports/pool tables. Can't wait to get back to try the food as I'm lucky enough to have just moved in next door!
Huge selection of ales and beers. Delicious Sunday carvery and cozy old school interior
Had a fantastic visit and loved every second. The food was great, the music was great and so was the atmosphere. I had the Halloumi and Chips, and my wife had Hunters Chicken, which was the best I've ever had actually. Definitely going back again.
Great pub, great beer Made very welcome by the owner Pop in for a beer or two , you'll love it
One of the historic pubs in Bristol. Great atmosphere, a great variety of beers and ciders. Good prices and very good food. A place for every hour.
Maybe not quite the oldest pub in Bristol but well worth a visit. Dozens of beers on tap and a tidy beer garden too. Recommended!
Went here with work colleagues. Beer very reasonable. Nice atmosphere. Lovely big beer garden. Oldy, worldly feel. They had sports on, but it wasn't overwhelming. Recommend.
Great food. Clean area. Visited my son who's in uni. Great family time. Will visit again.
Father and son visited before gig in St George’s.Good choice of real ales which were obviously well kept.We thought the burgers were outstanding and have paid more in the past for poorer quality. Eating outside so difficult to assess atmosphere.
We had 6 bar meals which came quickly after ordering. The service was attentive and friendly from the time we entered. A good experience and would use again if in the area.
Amazing little pub, full of history. Great food and good selection of beers. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic British pub experience.
Historic pub, decent value pints, good range of choice and lively atmosphere - helpful staff
