The Lamplighters - Bristol - Photo album

I mostly go there for a beer, (not cheap), and to chill out looking at the view across the Avon towards Pill. Great place for that. Always has been. Nice walk along cycle path and banks of the Avon from under the M5 bridge to the pub.
Went to the Lamplighters for Sunday Roast. Good choice of mains, had the beef. I must say the food was served piping hot( plate was also hot which I like), the portions are very generous and the whole meal was very tasty. At a bargain price of £12.95 I would thoroughly recommend.
Lovely listed building pub set by the river with lots of outdoor seating and sunset spots. Interior needs an update but the local atmosphere and friendly staff make up for it 10 fold. Food is decent. Very bright lights over seating areas, could do with dimming as the evening goes on. Beer selection
Called in for lunch with a group of friends on a weekday after doing a short walk from Portway Park & Ride - and we went a lunch time and we were able to sit outside which was nice for an October day - they do full meals and sandwiches
What a great find while doing a river Avon walk. Lovely inside, great garden and friendly staff. Had the best sunday roast (beef) I have had for years, and only £11!
Nice atmosphere and great position overlooking the River Avon. Visited on a sunny bank holiday so the garden was full with a happy holiday feel. Nice old fashioned pub I believe built in the 1700's. Food was classic pub grub and priced accordingly.
Very welcoming and friendly pub sat on the river Avon. Nice views. Very busy pub. Plenty of tables inside and outside. Toilets are clean. The pub is well kept, clean and tidy. Service is quick. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Popped in for a drink, had a beautiful hot chocolate and the staff were very welcoming.
Stopped for a drink at this lovely pub while on a bike ride. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. We didn't order food, but the roast dinners looked delicious and we'll definitely visit again for meals.
Just stopped for drinks. Dog friendly pub on a walk. We will co.e again.
Lovely place and quite big split on ground and upper floors. Very nice food served promptly even though there were a lot of customers. Not too far from the water... just a short walk across car park and banking. Water available to fill up your bottles from the bar.
First time I have been there! It had a lovely atmosphere and nice views of the River Avon! The food and service were good too! Will be going again soon!
Went for a drink with my partner, great atmosphere, lovely pub, live band.
Enjoyed a lovely roast lunch, generous portions and nice quality food. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good selection of gins too.
