Can’t fault this pub. It’s got a great atmosphere, good music playing (rock/alt) and cool trinkets dotted around including a bathroom covered in dolly parton photos. The people are lush with a great owner and good selection of beers/ales. Would love a few more ciders to choose from though! There’s a small seating area outside too :)
A proper, traditional, authentic pub! Excellent real and proper ales, amongst other drinks. Nice barman, great decoration (as long as you like StarWars, Bowie and whatever we remember fondly from that era. Customers turning up with music instruments play really well.
Shame I live 1500km away. I shall return, as General McArthur said.
Lovely backstreet boozer with great ale selection, games to play and a cool, homely vibe. Best pub in the area.

I really like it. Serves local Bristol brews with a laid back and quirky atmosphere. Very boardgame friendly with a selection of boardgames in the pub.
Welcoming friendly bar staff. Relaxed atmosphere with great but unobtrusive music. Super beer, the best during this trip to Bristol. Well worth the steep ascent from the city centre
What a lovely little pub. Great selection of ale and keg lines - local brews. Worth going out of your way to visit.
The Green Man is such a great pub, one of the best roasts I have ever had. Super friendly staff, really nice atmosphere and flowers on all the tables, and lots of cool decorations. Had to book in advance as it’s so popular but luckily got a table.

A lovely little (it’s small!) pub with a great selection of gin as well as local draft beer and cider. Not much space inside but that’s one of the reasons it’s so nice. Great staff to.
An excellent neighbourhood pub, offering great food options and an array of beers and ales in a comfortable, informal and welcoming environment. It's partnered with Dawkins Ales, a Bristolian Brewing crew, offering much of their range in addition to rotating other local goodness. Well worth a look!
Best pub in Bristol by a country mile, love it every time I am here and its my go to pub for when I am on my own - always play films and can have a chat with the barman. Not to mention free curry on a monday, curry is actually banging too!

Brilliant pop culture decor with an old woody local pub feel. Staff are all top people, and the landlord is as good as they get. Pub quiz is hosted by the best in Bristol - funny with challenging but interesting questions. Great game selection from top trumps to board games. Always happy to suggest new beers that have come in.
Didn't eat here. Just a superb evening of music and beer. The staff are superb!

Have to agree with previous reviews. I don't usually order soda water at the pub, but after 17 pints of the finest beers and ales available to punters in Bristol, I decided that a soda water would benefit me and those others who had put up with me for the last 6 hours.
Good lord. I hadn't expected that restorative kick to be so impactful!

Lovely little pub, good selection of booze on tap, geared more towards ale drinkers but great little place to sit and have a drink. Live music some nights too.
After a climb up a hill what you want is a cosy, friendly pub with a great beer selection and the Green Man pub is it. Visited this pub and many others on a recent trip to Bristol and this one stood out from the rest. Thanks for being so welcoming :)
