Amazing vegan roast and delicious sticky toffee pudding. Great service and atmosphere. Glad it’s my local!
Sunday Roast Lovely and welcoming hosts, gorgeous food and cosy seats. We had an absolutely delicious Sunday Roast as we were visiting Bristol. Highly recommended and we will love to return as we hada great time ❤️
Very good Sunday roast and very nice apple crumble. The wines are really good.
Lovely friendly pub. Used to be my local but hadn't been in a few years, great to see it still has the same friendly, family atmosphere. Good range of well kept beers. Very interesting looking menu, but unfortunately I was only popping in while I wait for yet again delayed train so didn't try any fo
Family friendly pub in Bedminster. A young mother was unselfconciously breast feeding in the bar when I was there - and I think that's a good thing. So expect relaxed and informal, with a good, if a little expensive, food menu. Lovely real fire in winter and a fair range of beers.
Decent local, cosy interior and a small outdoor terrace that just about sneaks a view over central bristol - a bit of it anyway. Ok selection of beer but a distinct lack of classic bitters and familiar names (Guiness, Sharps, Butcombe, etc). Despite this however it is still a place I have enjoyed oc
Great Sunday lunch including good veggie options. Really good beer selection including craft beer, ale, keg and cask. Family area with toys. Nice atmosphere, cosy.
The Windmill is a fantastic pub, with a lovely traditional pub interior. Always happy to lend out a pack of cards, and generally a very friendly atmosphere amongst the punters as well. Lovely food with some great veggie options. There's a good range of drinks both on tap and in bottle and plenty sna
Great cosy pub with excellent beer and cider selections. Only downside is it seems to be used as a crèche during the day with kids running wild. Mostly the clientele's fault not the owners.
Brilliant roasts, great selection of drinks. Cosy in the winter and peaceful outdoor space in the summer. Very lucky to have such a top local!
Food is fabulous. The dirty vegan burger has to be one of the best bits of pub food I have ever eaten. Sod it, it is beyond pub food.
Great, welcoming, little pub. Lovely food and good prices. Open fire indoors in winter and a heated smoking area out the back. Mind the step down going into the gents loo...
Great little pub with reasonably priced beers and ciders. Food is good too. Can be lots of kids here occasionally
Incredibly handsome bar staff and exciting wallpaper. Food and drink both good and a nice selection of chairs. Highly recomended if you are on windmill hill and want a pub.
Nice local pub. Good beer selection. Great staff
Lovely pub with good food. I've not been down for the film club or other weekly events but always enjoy coming here.
