We were passing and it looked really interesting. Very cool 50-70's style lounge. Nice interesting menu of cocktails and with quite advanced mixing of cocktails. The cocktail I had was a lovely complex flavours and nice to feel some love of the drink made. It's a classy dark and relaxed style bar. (amazing pecan nuts). .
Really great atmosphere created by the unique theme. Staff were very friendly and helpful in guiding you through the drinks. There is a wide selection of cocktails, definitely something for everyone. There are really unique drinks that you will not find anywhere else. Will need to go again to try more of them!
Amazing interior and great decorations.
We try a few cocktails and I can say that is maybe the best so far that I’ve ever had.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful with the menu. The olives with sea salt 🤤 👌🏻

Really nice and friendly atmosphere, staff are passionate about their drinks and are more than helpful with helping you decide what drink to have for your taste, the menu has the perfect amount of drinks and I've never been disappointed with any cocktails, well priced great place for a cute date night or catch up with friends, I recommend following there facebook/ Instagram to get updated about events there holding.

Incredible hidden gem in Bristol!
We visited this cocktail bar for the first time a few weeks ago for my boyfriends birthday.
On arrival we were greeted and our coats taken and hung up.
We had a cute table in the corner, and it was full but not busy.
We were served by the manager Rachel who was lovely and really knew her stuff. We didn’t know what to order at times so Rachel asked about flavours and alcohol we liked and then made suggestions, she got us the perfect drink every time.
The cocktails were some of the best cocktails I have ever had (and I have had a lot)!
The bar was owned by a husband and wife, who chatted with us and told us how they experiment and create the menus.
There’s not one fault I can make about this place and I can’t wait to return.
They even gave my boyfriend a birthday drink on the house which was a sweet touch.
Price wise it is great value for money!

If you are looking for a refreshing drink in a welcoming bar, The Clockwork Rose will exceed your expectations and open your eyes to the excellence that they have become known for.
The Clockwork Rose is a beautifully appointed cocktail bar. They have embraced the Steampunk Aesthetic from when they opened several years ago and this theme permeates the bar. From the naming behind many of their cocktails to the music played, as well as anecdotal tales framed upon the walls, it is very much tied into the identity of the bar.
The ambience of the establishment is welcoming and comfortable. The bar is excellently kept and often has a homely citrus aroma (in no small part due to the fresh fruit used in many of their drinks).
They serve a broad range of drinks catering to those who enjoy all manner of spirits and cocktails. They have put a great deal of effort into their 'Temperance' cocktails, as well as taking great consideration for those of their clientele with dietary requirements.
The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, each one being a master of their craft in their own right. The menu changes on a yearly basis to keep the ideas fresh and adapts with the creativity of their mixologists.
Whether you are just planning on stopping in for a swift drink, having a few drinks with friends or looking to expand you knowledge of cocktails and spirits, the Clockwork Rose is an excellent venue that will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and at home. Do take some time to call past and find out why they are one of Bristol's leading cocktail bars.

Good vibes, check. Well crafted drinks which you can actually taste the base spirit, check. Staff attentiveness, check. Would go back over and over when next in Bristol. Five stars all round
Thank you so much guys! We came here for my birthday in Sept, we had a larger party and the guys here were so helpful and hospitable. We had a few people drop out due to traffic issues coming from Devon but the staff just took us as we were. The drinks were impeccable as always. Friendly, welcoming staff. We will be back, and with less of us. I promise!
