I always have a good time when I come to this pub, its close to home which I like but the vibes are good and the drinks are affordable - today was the first time I got food though and it seriously blew me away! We ordered pretty close to the kitchen closing so they didn't have one of the things we w
Went here for the first time whilst visiting my daughter and her friend currently at UoB.
We had a lovely meal, the highlight of which were my pork and sesame spring rolls.
The best thing however was the super friendly team that served us, thank you!

Brilliant choice for a Wednesday midweek pub visit. Great selection of wines, beers, cocktails with such friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. We have yet to try food here.
The building and decor creates a beautiful place, inside is super comfy with an amazing seating area for drinks or intimate
Can't fault the service. Polite & smiley. Food was delicious. Had the Flat Iron Steak perfectly cooked. Relaxing, sociable atmosphere, with a great outside drinking/dining areas with very efficient heaters in the 'pods'.
Great service, I didn't enjoy my meal very much but I think I made a poor choice. Will definitely give it another try. As promised I did go back to give the food another go. Went in for the first time with my family for a Sunday roast, really quality food and clearly not mass produced ,was obviously freshly cooked, and the fussy children finished before we did, now that’s an accolade lol.

Visited today for a Sunday roast. Service was very good. The Food was absolutely delicious, I had roast beef & my daughter had the vegetarian wellington. Best roast dinner I have had in a pub for many years. I'd love to know the gravy recipe as it was mouth watering. We'll definitely be back soon. H
A cosy and classic pub. Very large inside and plenty of seating outside. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Good social distancing measures in place. Very clean and tidy. Tables well spaced out. A quiet pub, which is nice to have a quiet chat, with not having to struggle to talk over loud music.

Brilliant Sunday lunch! Can't wait to go back! Arrived very fast and was delicious. Lovely staff, very dog and child friendly. Always a good idea to visit.
I think this will now be my favourite place to roast dinner in Bristol now!!!

Super busy, buzzing with people, inclusive and frirndly atmosphere. Love the green walled outside area which gives privacy from the road. Perfect place for a drink before going to the cinema or after shopping nearby.
Good food and drink, warm atmosphere and board games available. Great heated outside setting especially during festive period. Now a regular for us.
Great pub with good selection of beers, wines and spirits rather than all the usual generic stuff. Food is also really good.
The food was amazing, my 8yr old cleared his plate which is unheard of! Staff were lovely and the service was great, will definitely visit again
