Picked up some lunch and bread on a Monday morning. It was already quite busy but we got served in good time.
The sandwiches were superb; a fantastic range of ingredients that you can choose from and build your own combination. All of the fillings we had were of great quality but the best component was definitely the bread - we had seven seed sourdough which was just superb for sandwiches. One our our party had a pasty which was also excellent quality.
We took two loaves home; a ciabatta and a sourdough. Both were excellent; great texture and taste. We will definitely return on our next visit to Bristol.
Beautiful breads and baked goods. The cinnamon swirls are perfect. Sandwich's are really high quality munch. All the food is top notch. Coffee is also really nice. Place has a nice buzz about it with all the bakers and servers running about working hard, and everyone is very friendly. There's a few spots to sit and eat, but not too many. The biggest problem with the place is that I just want to buy too much food and drink whenever I visit.
Popular for a reason. Everything is made fresh and the options are varied. Ordered a sandwich and a drink which ain't no meal deal price but the taste was amazing. Can get busy during lunch but worth the wait.
Today was the first time we visit Mark's bread because we had various breads before, my brother in law used to buy it for us once we live in Gloucester! We love it! It was a first for the breakfast and wow, the most delicious breakfast I ever had! The atmosphere and staff were amazing too, very nice people! We can't wait to go back! Loved the eggs, the bread, thesausage, the bacon and those beans have an incredible sauce, YUM!!! 😍
Great bread and great breakfast baps! Nice outdoor covered seating and nice vibe inside. Great staff, always nice and friendly. Coffee is decent too! Can’t fault it, go treat yourself!
Amazing bakery with lots of treats to enjoy. I tried the almond croissant, sourdough buns and multi-seed loaf which were all very tasty. Friendly staff and nice chilled atmosphere make it a perfect stop on North street. Few tables outside to relax and watch the world go by
One of the best coffees I’ve had since coming over to England. The sandwiches were very fresh and tasty.
The loaves of bread are amazing, you just can’t compare them to anything you’d buy in the supermarket. I’ve also had a breakfast sandwich here and the veggie sausage is absolutely delicious, I think it’s homemade and honestly know idea what’s in it but it tastes great
Delish sandwich... and i managed to get it gluten free!!! Amazing to get the option at a bakery... not only that but they delivered on the ingredients, flavour and size!! Very grateful and full!!
Possibly the best sausage, egg and bacon sandwich I've ever eaten in a cafe. A good choice of bread and friendly staff. Will definitely return when I'm next in the area.
If the leek sandwich special is on, get it. Do so good. Almond croissant is the best in Bristol!
Massive, nutritious and tasty vegan sandwich for a lunch treat when I was in the area, top marks. I was told they always have a vegan sandwich of the day, though they don't seem to mention it online. Price not so much more than a supermarket sandwich and much better value, and came with a free glass of water which is all I wanted for lunch. Also got an organic rye loaf, which was just slightly drier than I prefer and cost more than my favourite from Herberts, but still good. Server didn't communicate so well, but swapped the wrong loaf and didn't charge the extra so not unhappy about that.

Amazing place to go for breakfast - the breads are brilliant too. Great staff, polite and happy. Loved the decor, very popular among the locals. Highly recommend.
Have stopped here a few times, really lovely bread and some great pastries as well 🌟
