First time visit here after hospital appointment. Illy coffee with toasted bacon and vegan sandwiches were good quality ingredients and very tasty. Staff very pleasant and would like to return soon.
Very friendly staff and a good cup of coffee with a choice of milks. We had a veggie brunch of halloumi, poached eggs, mushrooms, tomato, kale and toast for £10 and were well pleased.
Best vegan cooked breakfast in the city. Lovely friendly staff. A proper local cafe with a great personal service and feel.
At lunchtime I had broccoli and stilton soup and black coffee. Not quick service but worth waiting for. The place was very clean and the staff friendly. Don't know if the soup was homemade or bought in, but it was thick and creamy and well spiced. Slight hipster atmosphere but none the less real and
I loved their croissant & hot chocolate. Just the right amount of choc, milk at the right temperature. I particularly remember during a cold afternoon and my colleague and I were craving some hot drinks, and their hot chocolate was amazing. I'm an avid hot chocolate drinker so I suits my palate well
Independent family-owned coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly polite staff and customer service that is slightly higher quality than some independent places. I only had toast and honey but it was well-presented with generous amounts of butter and honey in their own small dishes.
Just across from the Royal infirmary, quiet and chilled out atmosphere, nice place to sit at the window, friendly service. Tea in a pot was nice touch, prob 3* for the sandwich and cake
Good value food in a relaxed environment. Came in handy as a place to sit down and work on my laptop during a long break between university lectures.
Lovely staff good food and peaceful. Great for a quiet chat with a friend or a place to catch up on some work.
Well cooked full breakfast. Bacon, poached eggs, nice and soft, baked beans, mushrooms well cooked and had pepper added. Hashbrown was tasty. Toast was nice as well, on white bread. Came with a premium sausage which was nice however they had run out on my other visit and had the standard sausage wh
Delightful staff, friendly and welcoming, hot food. Ans they open at 07:30 which is awesome. Definitely a revisit required.
Nice. Eggs were ever so slightly over poached, but not too bad. Good quality ingredients used, nice coffee too. Still a little pricey, but I guess £9 is the going rate for the location? Preferred this to Penfolds just a few doors down.
Great location right next to several University buildings. Cozy sitting, lively, bright, the atmosphere is friendly. Chicken sandwich with mayo was really good, the latte was ok. Great place for a quick bite, especially for students. You can sit outside too. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch break here. A
Me and the Mrs stopped off for a bacon sandwich and a coffee, really friendly place and good service
Lovely location but that means it's pretty busy! Not many vegan options but I think the menu changes regularly so may have just been unlucky. Range of plant milks available and decaf coffee too. Curious interior decorating gives you something to take about! Friendly and fast service, they definitely
Lovely restful cafe. I had the most gorgeous tasting vegan sausage, kale and avocado sandwich on great bread and a good proper coffee. (There are meat options too). Friendly service and decent crockery. Will be back for some of the devilish looking cakes!
We work at the hospital and regularly order sandwiches from here. It's a great family run cafe. Chris the owner is really helpful and friendly. The sandwiches are delicious especially the bakery bread. Highly recommended.
A cosy place with great food and coffee plus friendly staff
