Food was nice - could not complain but unfortunately there wasn't anything "wow". My partner and I had the pig board. The pairings of the food (e.g. pork and crackling roll with apple sauce) were good and rightfully paired. However my partner did comment that if you didn't like certain sauces then the meats are ruined - obviously can combat this by not having the pig board and going for something specific. We could not finish it but the staff were lovely and put it into boxes for us to take away. Service: 9/10 cannot complain Food: 8/10 Favourite part: scotch eggs Go again?: In a group it would be perfect but would not go again intimately with just another person. Value for money: 7/10 Overall score: 8/10 for the restaurant of its type. Unfortunately the only things missing were the mini sticks coming out from pulled pork.

High quality pork based food and craft beers, with veggie options. You can also buy their Jolly Hog sausage products in-store to take home. Love this place, glad to see an independent like Pigsty grow from their Cargo pop-up at Wapping Wharf to a shop front.

Went for a Sunday roast - they offer pork (as you'd expect from a restaurant called pigsty) or chicken. The pork roast was delicious. Plenty of gravy, though I didn't need as much as I thought I would since the meat was so moist. Fantastic portion size for the £15 price tag; I can eat a lot and I was defeated by it! Great place to eat!

Love this place! Been a few times now since it opened. The food is great and good value, love the Pig Mac and the hoguettes! Service is always good and it’s really spacious, able to sit with the kids and buggy without feeling like we were on top of someone else which is not easy to find in Bristol. Good atmosphere and lovely with the large windows at the front open on a sunny day. Will be back again soon.

We visited for breakfast - it was enjoyable, and our waiter was good and very friendly. 'pig shy' is the veggie breakfast which is a great name for it. It was a pretty stodgy breakfast as the veggie sausages are cheese, leak and potato, and it also comes with hash browns also....a good hangover breakfast, but too heavy for my personal preference/choice. The standard 'pig sty' breakfast was very good - fantastic bacon and sausages as you'd expect.

So pleased this has opened near my house. Love the first place down at Wapping Wharf but think this place is even better! Went at the weekend for a birthday and the service, food and decor are fantastic. My partner was pleased with her veggie option. Recommend the house pale ale. Will be back!
