Visited to have brunch. Really good selection of breakfast options with a Hungarian twist. Great portion sizes and the food was very tasty. The juices were a highlight, very fresh and healthy
Friendly place with lovely food. If you love hungarian food I am sure you will leave satisfied 😌
Absolute gem! If you are on Gloucester Road, it’s absolutely worth a visit! Some amazing traditional hungarian, comfort food. The most lovely waitress. A fascinating interior and overall a very cozy and warm atmosphere. For winter especially, I think it’s perfect! If I am in Bristol again, in particular in Horfiel, I will definitely want to visit again.
Cosy, authentic restaurant. You probably won’t know anything on the menu, but whatever you order will probably be amazing and authentic to traditional Hungarian cuisine. Would recommend making the most of the lunchtime deal where all meals are £12. Top 3 places I’ve eaten in Bristol.
Amazing food, great and fast service! Me and my husband are both gluten and dairy free and we still had a lot to choose from on the menu!
Great little gem on Gloucester Road - does cafe breakfasts/brunches, fresh cakes/pastries and also would highly recommend all the Hungarian specials. I try something new each time I come and am never disappointed.
Staff are amazing and food is delicious. I believe its 2-4-1 Thursdays as well!
Absolutely love this place! The team is so friendly and accommodating, always always greeting you with a smile ! Food is delicious and taste like made by your mum or granny! The portions are also like that! If you like desserts - they are always spot on and haunt you for days! I just bloody lovely The Deck ❤️
Really nice place. I ordered the goulash which was pretty nice. I also ordered a coffee which really really nice. The staff were lovely and my experience overall was great
Delicious homemade Hungarian food. They let us try a very hot paprika relish too. Cheesecake was perfect. Really friendly service too.
Definitely a Café to try!
Lovely family atmosphere, Hungarian dishes mainly, many vegetarian and vegan options,
Superb food, great quality,
Professional staff
Once you tried you definitely will go back now and then

This is a nice, reasonably priced cafe that specialises in Hungarian food (Goulash etc.) but also stocks traditional English fare. We only stopped briefly for a coffee and brownie but we did see what others were eating and the food looked good! Two coffees and a brownie came in at under £8 so not too bad for Bristol. It's nicely decorated inside with lots of plants and books covering the walls. Would recommend!
The food always tastes great and the atmosphere is very homely. Make sure to try out the Hungarian specials too.
Great service and excellent Hungarian dishes amongst many other wonderful options. We always have a great time, and lush Hungarian wines.
We had quite a few things on the menu. We had a light bite what could of done with a bit more salt but it was still really nice. After we had our mains I had the chicken strip and my partner had the chicken rago they were all really lovely but again I felt the rago could of done with a little bit more salt mainly the dumplings what came with. And my dish I felt like it had to much salad leaved compare to the amount of chiken but the potato and sauce with it was lovely. We also had desert and again no despondent there delicious. We be back again no question about it. Too bad they located on the other side of town from where we live it's quite the journey other wise would visit way more then probably will be doing so. Still only could recommend place looks lovely and staff is lovely and helpful, food and drink are great!!
Brilliant service, very kind staff!
Dori is a prepared and very kind business owner.
The food is delicious, authentic.
The service is fast and the food described on high standard on both language. The atmosphere is very calmed, really have the "feels like home". This place is not a typical hungarian restaurant, not specific for the hungarian kitchen. You can have healthy dishes, vegan, vegetarian or traditional pork/beef. You can have coffee with alternative ingredients.
This place highly recommended!!!
This is the real star of Gloucester Road.
Went here for some lunch the other day and wasn't disappointed.
The interior is lovely, with simple wooden furniture adorned with cushions, making this feel really homely and warm, along with the friendly faced staff, even better.
The selection here is wonderful, with some items changed daily and others changed weekly.
I went for a lovely Hungarian Beef Stew served with what i could only guess was pasta, whilst my partner had a homemade falafel salad, with the extras, bit washed down with their fresh and homemade juice.
Both dishes taste absolutely wonderful and I cant wait to eat here again.
Great place, really good food and my fiance (who's from hungary) really enjoyed the food and made her feel at home, also the hot chocolate was probably nicest one I've had, also took 2 desserts home and loved them!
